According to the LA Times, the developers of the app were Clintonistas. Anybody who fires them will wind up committing suicide.

I normally subscribe to the maxim,"Never ascribe to conspiracy what can easily be explained by incompetence." But given the Establishment Democrats' track record of conspiring against Bernie, conspiracy is a real possibility. Iowa vote counts could be the new, "During the recount, we just found a few thousand uncounted votes in the trunk of a car."

If the final results show Bernie winning and Biden in third or fourth place, then the incompetence theory wins. Any other outcome, and the conspiracy theory wins. And the Sandernistas will start rioting.
