One problem with your conspiracy theory:

Flynn was in the Army until mid-2014. He did his shady business before he got involved in the Trump campaign in 2016. When his shadyness was revealed, Trump fired him immediately.

I think Manafort worked for the Ukranians before he ever worked for the Trump campaign. If he was talking to pro-Russian Ukranians, or even Russians, that's probably why.

Paige was founder and managing partner of Global Energy Capital, a New York investment fund and consulting firm specializing in the Russian and Central Asian oil and gas business, so if he was talking to Russians, that's probably why.

What you're yearning and hoping for is evidence of collusion between Trump and the Putin that is treasonous. It would have to be a letter or an email or a recorded conversation saying, "I will let you have Donbass if you deliver me Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin" or something like that. Right now, there is nothing even close to that. Just one Tony Rezko, one Jim McDougal, and one Billy Carter.

But godspeed in your noble quest to find the holy grail. We'll leave the light on for you.

Gen. Flynn spoke to the Russian ambassador - illegally - about lifting U.S. sanctions against Russia after the Trump administration was up and running. The FBI, armed with that knowledge, asked the General if he had that conversation and he denied it. That is a felony. Professor Tiger knows this, yet he says Flynn "did his shady business" BEFORE he got in the campaign. I believe he wants a do-over on the quote above, and I'll graciously grant it. And notice how I didn't mention Flynn worked for and took payments from Turkey DURING the campaign, and did not register as their agent until 4 months after the election.

Oh, and Trump did not fire Flynn immediately 'after the shadyness' was revealed, as you claim. Days after the inauguration, Atty Gen. Yates went to the WH and told Trump and Pence directly about Flynn's lies to the FBI. Yet it was almost 3 full weeks before Flynn got the axe. During that 3 week period, Pence and Trump both denied any knowledge of Flynn's conversation with the ambassador about sanctions.
But godspeed in your noble quest to find the holy grail. We'll leave the light on for you.

Three weeks in Washington DC IS immediately. It would take them that long just to type up the paperwork.

Like I said, Flynn is in deep legal doo-doo, and deserves to be, for all the reasons you cited. His scalp is yours with my full blessing. But if his conversations as the NSA with the Russians were recorded by the FBI, and he was saying stuff like, "My boss Trump says he is willing to let you invade Estonia without interference if you let him build a new casino resort in St.Petersburg," I think we all would have heard about it by now.

As soon as those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome can produce something like that, I'll be impressed. Until then, I won't.

Ironically, according to Spicer there is no paperwork at the WH concerning Flynn, zip. Whereas Priebus answered the House Committee's official demand for Flynn paperwork by saying there's too much of it, compiling it all would be a major pain, therefore the request is unjustified. In other words, they'll wait for the subpoena.

You would have heard a lot about it by now, except Nunes pulled the plug on Sally Yates interview with the House Committee the day before she was scheduled. That was what the whole "got "intel docs" from the WH only to hand it back to them in front of the cameras" sham was all about - to kill that hearing. Now she's scheduled for a do-over with the committee on May 8th. Or maybe not, should Trump nuke North Korea on May 7th. Just sayin'..

You are anxious and yearning to get the goods, and that is commendable. Flynn has "a story to tell and he's willing to tell it" - you'll just have to wait like the rest of us.

I mean, 17 intelligence agencies have confirmed that the Russians meddled in the last U.S. presidential election. Every member of Congress, from the Republican speakers of the House and Senate on down, concede this very basic fact. Yet:

Only 28% of Registered Republicans Believe Russia Meddled in the U.S. Election - Associated Press

That's polling for you. Sadly only 28% were willing to admit what they know to be true. Patriotic Americans probably, "principle over party" people. I bet there are some here who would have voted with the 28ers. A figurative bet; not real money.

The doc's on Flynn are missing? Maybe they were accidentally wiped from a server with bleachbit, and are therefore unrecoverable. Or maybe the the hard drive was accidentally destroyed and disposed of. But however the records were lost, it was an accident. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Maybe there is ambiguity in the term "meddling" in that poll. Some may have interpreted that to mean "successfully affected the outcome" while others interpreted it to mean "attempted to affect the outcome." The 28%ers are probably in the former category. It depends on what the word "is" is.

I don't know anybody who doesn't believe that the Russians tried to influence the election. I also don't know anyone who believes they succeeded in influencing the election.

Professor Tiger wrote:IMHO, Trump's doing great on domestic issues, but that was never my worry with him. It's his foreign policy that always scared me. He is a simplistic hot head, and those kind of people with nuclear weapons can be a dangerous combination.

He is clearly gearing up for a war in Korea. If that happens, Seoul and parts of Japan will be devastated, causing huge civilian casualties. There had BETTER be a YUGE reason for starting a war like that. W cured me of trusting presidents and assuming that they know what they are doing when they lead us into big wars.
What would these domestic accomplishments be? Since you are a horrible piece of shit I'd guess that you are celebrating the deportations of a bunch of kids who were doing nothing wrong but other than racist fear mongering, what has been done? As far as I can tell, it's been nothing but losing for this moron.

1. He got rid of a lot of inane government regulations that were killing jobs, e.g. he is putting coal miners back to work instead of out of work.
2. He used his bully pulpit to keep factories and jobs in America.
3. He cancelled TPP to protect American jobs and workers.
4. He threatened to cancel NAFTA and got Mexico and Canada back to the negotiating table to make it more fair to American workers.
5. He approved and started the Keystone pipeline, creating jobs for American workers, and making America less dependent on 7th century barbaric theocracies in the Middle East for our oil.
6. He has started enforcing the law by deporting illegal aliens, focusing on the ones that have committed crimes after arriving here. He hasn't gone after DACA's. The US government no longer behaves as if we are the only country in the world that is not allowed to have borders.
7. He has started the process of building the Wall, but got no help from congressional RINO's.
8. He tried to repeal and replace Obamacare but got no help from the congressional RINO's.
9. He stopped Obama's war on guns and Christian nuns, florists and bakers.
10. He stopped the federal government trying to force men who think they are women into every women's bathroom in America.
11. He is calling AGW what it is - a hoax supported by fraudulent pseudoscience.
12. He has threatened to withhold federal funding of cities that refuse to comply with federal immigration law. Stay tuned. This one's going to SCOTUS.
13. He is calling out the MSM news outlets and telling them straight to their faces what they truly are - the PR department of the Democrat Party and a disgrace to their profession.
14. He tried to keep people from cesspools of Islamic terrorism from walking right into America without thorough screening. Stay tuned. This is going to SCOTUS.
15. Neil Gorsuch. (Did I mention Neil Gorsuch?) He will apply the rule of law and basic sanity to overrule the People's Republic of the 9th Circuit. He will cast the vote that decides #12 and #14 in Trump's favor:
16. If Kennedy retires this summer, as is widely rumored, another Neil Gorsuch.

Not bad for only 100 days.

What a pussy.

So, his accomplishments can be summarized as denial of reality, a desire to rewind the clock to a time that is gone and not coming back, with a healthy dose of racism and xenophobia. Why am I not surprised that you are all in on this?

Heh. You sound just like the executives at ESPN when they decided to insert liberal politics into their sports programming. Or the Hillary campaign. Or the Democrats in general. They all just assumed that they had the real grasp on reality, and there were hardly any people who didn't want to be socially engineered into their vision of socialist paradise.

Reality sucks, doesn't it Cletus?

Sad to see prof this way. That list was pure fantasy, with the exception of Gorsuch. Some of it was heh-funny, but mostly it was kind of creepy. Reminiscent of IB's erstwhile crush on Romney.

Tick et al, this is your lucky day. If you have been wondering for awhile, "Will there ever come a time when those inbred yokel racist sexist homophobic transphobic xenophobic religious nutjob deplorables stop supporting Trump?"

That may be about to happen:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05 ... kdown.html

The huge appeal of Trump to his supporters is he says what he means, means what he says, and will do what he says. He was supposed to be different from all the other Republicans who say one thing in the campaign, then go off to Washington and do just the opposite.

By giving up on the wall and sanctuary cities in his first budget, Trump just became another typical Republican politician. Look for Trump's support to start collapsing. I just hope Trump can get another SCOTUS pick before he gets broomed.

Even more significantly, you can kiss the Republican majority in the House goodbye. Speaker Ryan just became, for all intents and purposes, Nancy Pelosi.

Yeah, but the even huger appeal of our republican form of government is that one guy doesn't just get everything he wants just b/c he purportedly "means what he says", especially when less people voted for him than his opponent...
