I wish you were shocked just like Steve Irwin when he approached that stingray.

Looks like the Bearcats got their man and he doesn't even have to move.

I know that guy. He was at Bama for a number of years.

To bad they stuck with Grant. This guy has potential. Very raw but still. UC is in the AAC or whatever you call it. It's a good gig for 10-12 years. Comfortable.

I do too. Cronin came from Murray St. Granted he was a local boy and UC was his destiny. Until he hit the ceiling.

looks like Duke snagged another one.

why would this kid want Duke after the shitshow they put on this year?

------------------------------------------------------

Matthew Hurt has cancelled his in-home visits, including John Calipari and Kentucky’s, which was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Hurt’s father, Richard, told a local news station his son has shut down his recruitment – no colleges will make visits ahead of Sunday’s midnight recruiting deadline.

Hurt is set to make his decision this coming Friday, so this news certainly doesn’t bode well for Kentucky’s chances. Hurt is also being recruited by Duke, North Carolina and Kansas, but this announcement all-but-solidifies Coach K and the Blue Devils’ chances at landing the 5-star recruit. Both UK and the Jayhawks had in-home visits scheduled for today, but both were cancelled.

According to reporter Mark Poulose of KTTC-TV in Hurt’s home state of Minnesota, Hurt’s father believed it would be “too much” to host multiple schools and coaches so close to Sunday’s recruiting deadline.

Will Wade reinstated at LSU

that's almost surprising.

I guess after UNC, everyone that cheats just says "we investigated ourselves, we didn't do it" and then just goes back to business as usual.

UNC, once again, ahead of the curve.

Duke has been the leader for this Hurt kid all along, if you believe the Duke recruiting guys. And I can see why: he's a throwback to the skinny white guys that K loves.

I think with Tre Jones back, Duke will be better next year. Adding a guy like Hurt won't hurt them (see what I did there), but I don't get why K is going after Cassius Stanley, another 5-star guard since he already has Jones coming back along with Boogie whoever, another 5-star shooting guard.

Calipari has a couple of good recruits coming in and if he could get some of the kids back from this year's team, he would be in good shape for next year.

Even if UNC gets Cole Anthony, and I won't be surprised if he goes somewhere else, they still have some scoring gaps to fill that I don't see coming from Anthony and Bacot. Losing White is going to hurt Carolina more than anything else.

With Hurt now out of the picture, UK is looking at this kid as a replacement.....

I'm not saying the kid hasn't been a Duke lean, I'm just surprised there isn't some backlash against Duke. We demonstrated a clear need for a front court player to replace Washington and Travis so PT wasn't an issue.

I thought Thon Maker would have been a good addition. I don't know anything about this kid. Then again, I don't know anything about any of them.

"I know that guy. He was at Bama for a number of years."

Alabama football head coach Mike Price?
