I gave the last 30 second eulogy. started off with "theres two things my dad always carried around. pulled out his sony movie camera then pulled out a bud light". his buddies howled with laughter. -----"this is my dads last call. with every last call there has to be a last song. my family picked this song because we think it says it all about my dad" we then listened to luke bryans "drink a beer" and after all had filed by with there last good byes, me my brothers and 2 brotherinlaws opened that beer and each drank a tpoast to my day before they closed the lid.

so if you here that song and you have a beer in your hand drink a toast to dads everywhere. the world is a much better p[lace with them around.

its hard to fuigure out why people do what they do after a loved one dies

my mom and dad were married 55 years.

first words out of muy moms mout last tuesday was what was she going to do
next words were she wasnt staying hin the house alone
next words were she needs to move so how do we accomplish that
thats when I went to the liquor store
so we get thru the week and get thru the burial and I noted my mom was goofier then usual
couldnt remember shit kept asking the same questions over and over
turns out she was taking xanax q8 for 3-4 days
so after my wife/kids left to gpo back to kansas got her off thhat shit monday
went and found a condo shes putting an offer in today
and she sounds like shes ready to get out and start a new life.
which kind of pisses me off
my wife then offers up maybe my dads multiplke years of partying and galavanting before it caught up with him the last few years have soured my mom into the cold unfeeling bitch I did not enjoy being around
I now hate my wife but she's probably right
but the good news is mom was taken care of by dads and hers frugal ways and shes in a position to buuy a condo without having to sell our house first. that and shes not moving to kansas which would turn me into an glenfiddaholic.
