I was hoping that he'd packed a parachute to get down...

my daughter wants to volunteer on Saturdays to build some college resume material.

Specifically something in the medical or medical research area ----more specifically cancer research if possible. She doesn't have high hopes of being very hands on, just doing paperwork or whatever around the office/lab

RIght now the easy way out is to volunteer at the local hospital but I'd be open to suggestions if any of you have any ideas on who to contact or how to make it happen at are more medical research focused facility.

We also thought about UC, but I expect they are overrun with volunteers trying to get intern work

Good lord, man, don't let her hang around the hospital. That's where all the sick people are. She'll be bringing home god knows what sorts of viruses and the like.

I'm hoping she gets to volunteer at a cancer facility. Depressing but she is considering cancer research as a career.

Maybe have her look at one of the children's hospital? She can learn a lot there about different types as well as help kids out who might need it.

Fascinating. Is this a rivalry thing? You hate a guy who was dead years before you picked your team?

Robert Neyland coached his last game at Tennesee well before I was born and I hate him.

I will allow DS's hate of Georgie.
