I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Butch is going to make some program very happy. I wish him great success. The more successful he is, the bigger a clueless fucknut Holden Thorpe will be proven to be. I'm all for that...

It means Oklahoma State should have a chance at the national title before Alabama.

Okie State has a much, much worse loss than Bama. They've played more top 25 teams, but fewer top 40. I do not think they're the second best team. But if they go, they go. We didn't seal the deal in OT vs LSU.

I would like to see LSU-Alabama as the final game in an extended playoff format. I would prefer that the exhibition matchup we do get not be two teams Ive already seen play each other.

I'd love to see a Bammy/LSU rematch for the natty title. That would be perfectly a propos. The only downside would be if Bama barely won, which would give LSU a legitimate claim that they deserve the title just as much based on on-the-field performance. A comfortable Bama win in which they never trail or at least are never challenged by, say, late in the first half, would make them the (mostly) undisputed champ. A second LSU victory of any sort would, of course, make them the wholly undisputed champion...

Bama fans would claim the title even if they barely won, claiming that "this was the championship game, not the regular season game, and we won when it counted." But the fact that LSU beat Bama in their own house mitigates that logic somewhat, IMO. For all intents and purposes, the regular season game had all the build-up and expectation of a national title game and IMO it was played like one. Bama fans won't be able to discount that result on the basis of it being "only" a regular season game...

But for those who don't think rematches should not happen or that you have to win your conference to get a shot, get the rules changed. Until then, you can't invoke rules that dont exist.

hedge,

The crystal trophy will go to whomever wins the title game. This isn't unique to this game. Regular season wins do not mitigate post season losses in any sport.

I don't think it's going to happen, but I hope Oklah State beats Oklahoma by at least 10 points. I'd prefer OSt against LSU as opposed to what we've already seen. Primarily, my issue is that the Oklah St. loss was the day after a major loss by the university (death of women's basketball coach and assistant) and they would have won in regulation with a FG that was probably good. So while they loss to an inferior team, it was on the road in unusual circumstances.

If they lose to Oklahoma, it doesn't matter.

Actually, you'd be wrong. The Okie State women's BB coach actually spent a lot of time at the football team's practices, games, etc. It's actually a fairly tight-nit community.

OK, so they knew who they were. A close knit community? Come on, people have personal tragedies all the time. You can't use the death of an acquaintance as an excuse.
