It was a helluva game. Since I didn't get the meteor I asked for, it then became a matter of settling in to see which dirtbag would win (or lose). Some will say the bigger scoundrel got the karmic shit-sandwich (and a triple-decker, at that). The expression on Carroll's face was no doubt sweet - somebody likened it to the look of the kid who just knocked over the priceless vase.

have to give Carroll credit, he owned the result. didn't make excuses or try to blame someone/something

Carroll absolutely deserves credit. Some teams almost never make it to the post-season.

As one who doesn't have a dog in the Brady/Peyton fight - the most impressive part was Brady not getting phazed by those 2 INTs, and while everyone will recall he catch off the body and the bonehead call at the one - the preceding scoring drive by New England was just as crucial and impressive. It's cool when the one NFL game I watch per year ends up being worth watching.

yeah that first one was a head scratcher and he did make some bad throws especially first half. second half he picked out the openreciever all day long. stepped up in the pocket and exploited matchups.
damn i wish they had ran lynch so we would be having a different conversation

There's no serious argument about that anymore. If Tom Brady is in any arguments its vs Joe Montana now.

I dont know
If you said player A had 520 career td passes and player B had 398 career td passes
and player A had 70,000 yards and player b had 53000 yards
and player A had 6/12 of the best passing seasonsQBR ratings in history whuile player B had only 1/12 best season QBR rating in history
and player had a career passer rating of 97.5 while player B had a career passer rating of 95.9
and player A's career pasing rating in playoffs is 14th overall at 88.5 while player B is 12th overall at a tick higher at 89
(bart starr, kurt warner and aaron rodgers are top 3)
I'd say player A still has an argument that he is a better careerqb then B
I understand 4>1 but 4 has lost twice as many superbowls the 1 has also. 1>2 heh. and if not for a stupid slant in it would be 1>3 and 3>1

And hey we all know that Doug Williams and Trent Dilfer were way better QBs than Dan Marino.
