Now that the election is over and Hillary Clinton lost, it’s time to shut down the Clinton Foundation fundraising machine charitable organization. That’s right, Hillary’s Clinton Global Initiative will be formally ending its operation on April 15th.

The field of candidates interested in chairing the Democratic Party as it rebuilds after Donald Trump's surprise win is growing quickly, despite strong early support for Rep. Keith Ellison.

As long as the Democrats can't figure out exactly WHAT HAPPENED (and I'm not sure they can) then it doesn't matter. The dems are still in complete denial of what the voters want. The GOP will be here to stay (in power) for a long time so long as Trump keeps the Chamber-of-Commerce-centric establishment GOP out.....

Alls I know is this: Trump said that on day one he'd be building a mex-funded wall and dismantling obamacare. Mouthbreathers bought that nonsense lock, stock, and barrel but their memories apparently are shorter than their ..uh ..hands. They're still true believers, somehow - probably because they have no choice. Incredibly poor cabinet choices are met with shrugs ("we don't need them gubmint departments noways"). That it's apparent that this administration is the Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight (or Find the Light Switches) to the rest of the world but not to the unwashed trumpkins is really part of the lore.

Luckily IB is back in these pages to extol the greatliness of Trump and Assistant President Bannon while seemingly having no recollection of his fairly recent love affair with a Chamber-of-Commerce-centric establishment presidential candidate. Such is the power of strong meds, or meth.

Good times.

Romney was always the second strongest GOP candidate on immigration. He talked about a wall back in 2011. Everyone was giving him grief for it back then, talking about the cost.

The cost for the wall is nothing. We are spending over a $100 billion annually on people who live here (produce NO children in wedlock, create NO wealth, consuming massive infrastructure and resources) but are not citizens. The wall will not cost that much, and I don't even care if Mexico pays for it (although I am quite sure they will, one way or another.) That $100 billion annual spending needs to cease, immediately.

It would be interesting to see the latest cost/benefit analysis of illegal immigration. Whatever the facts are, I'm quite sure it bears no relationship to the bullshit you're spewing.

Cletus, Mexican medical doctors, Mexican computer scientists, Mexican engineers, Mexican registered nurses, Mexican attorneys, these people are NOT crossing the border unlawfully. They never did. They have no reason to do so. With their education, skill set, and the cost of living in Mexico, they live like kings. And they encourage their 3rd world peasant people to break our immigration laws and come here and do as they will.

I don't particularly care if you think I am spewing BS or not. I know what these people are like. I live in Arizona. I have met these people. I know how they live. I know where they live. And after a while, after so many of their ESL thug spawn in our schools terrorizing our children, after so many DUIs, so many child rapes, so many vehicular homicides where the illegal is driving an unregistered, uninsured beater, so much drug dealing, so many of our Arizona law enforcement knifed or shot, you get sick of it and you want it to stop. You want your country back. We've had enough. These people were never welcome here in the first place. They need to go, I don't give a d-mn how long they've lived here or how much they feel they are entitled to stay. You do NOT assimilate into the melting pot if everything about your life, is unlawful and 3rd world.

Dealing with illegal immigrants has pretty much never bothered me, but I will say that if you ever are around rich mexican nationals (not ones who live here) at shopping malls and restaurants you might see some pretty surprising shit go down.

I don't think the GOP is here to stay. They got fewer votes than the Dem's did. The Dem's only lost because a relatively small number of working class white voters in the Rust Belt flipped to Trump. It was kind of a miracle.

After they get over their current collective freak out, the Dem's have four years to figure out how they can hide their disgust and contempt for working class white voters in the Rust Belt, and elsewhere in flyover country. According to their normal playbook, they'll give away millions of free taxpayer funded NASCAR tickets and launch the Department of Tractor Pulls, and they'll be back on top.

And as an aside, IB, didn't you support the patron saint of the Chamber of Commerce, Mitt Romney?

Well hell. Gen. Flynn got the early hook after all.

Lewandowski, Manafort, Giuliani, Christie, Flynn..

who's on deck?

Priebus? Conway?

Maybe I'm missing something. Flynn's original infraction was he talked to the Russians? That doesn't sound like a big deal to me. Hillary would have solicited campaign donations from them.

But if he lied to his boss about it, then this is a classic case of the coverup being worse than the crime. He needs to be gone.

Already getting the excuses queued up, I see...

Also, how many Arizona cops have been knifed by illegal mexicans?

That's what they're saying on Fox and Friends, for sure. "It's not like we're at war with Russia."

But..to quote Bill O'Reily, Putin is a thug and a killer. He's attacked us often in cyberspace and many consider that to be a serious provocation, if not exactly all-out war. But there was Gen. Flynn on Russian national TV, and there he was sitting with Putin at that infamous banquet, and his ties to the Kremlin were being investigated even before he made those calls to the ambassador.

Seems like only the staunchest Trump supporters want to ignore this Russian business. Manafort's ties to Putin-backed Ukraine rebels and all of that funny money...still being investigated. The DNC hacking, the blackmail intel rumors...the mere fact that Trump refuses to say a discouraging word against Putin but screams at our allies? None of this is a big deal?

No. Talking to an adversary is not automatically evil. I assume Obama's people talked to Castro and Chavez and Kim and Assad. That was no big deal too, in and of itself.

Hillary wasn't just going around to talking to every tinhorn and president-for-life, she was soliciting campaign money from the ones who could write her a check. That was a much bigger deal, but the left almost made her president anyway.
