This Sweet 16 is mighty chalky. I don't think the Auburn win over Kansas was even an upset, Kansas just isn't that good this year. Oregon is the only other team that's not a top 4 seed in the Sweet 16...

ESPN re-seeds the Sweet 16 based on first weekend performances. They still have Duke as the top 1 seed (I am assuming they are putting them in order from top to bottom), but they would likely have Duke as the top seed even if they had lost yesterday, so it's not a surprise. UK and Tennessee drop...

Michael Avenatti has been arrested and accused of wire and bank fraud by the attorney general’s office for the Southern District of New York. This comes hours after he was planning a press conference regarding an NCAA and Nike basketball scandal. Avenatti’s arrest was first reported by Reuters’ Jan Wolfe in the early afternoon of March 25. Avenatti is accused of attempting to extort money from Nike regarding the scandal he had promised to speak publicly about.

Less than an hour before his arrest, Avenatti tweeted, “Tmrw at 11 am ET, we will be holding a press conference to disclose a major high school/college basketball scandal perpetrated by @Nike that we have uncovered. This criminal conduct reaches the highest levels of Nike and involves some of the biggest names in college basketball.” Shortly after Avenatti’s announcement, CNBC reported that Nike’s shares had dropped to a “session” low.
