In the old days a Nebraska/Tennessee bowl game would melt this place down.
Now?

It might have melted down the Tennessee board. Tax cuts for rich and Iraq having WMD were melting this place down back then.
Trying like heck to get better.

Megyn Kelly leaving Fox for NBC:

I predict a major decline of Republican men watching Fox, and a surge of Democrat women watching NBC.

So it was always going to be an issue wrt when and how much Trump's Narcissistic Personality Disorder would come into play as leader of the free world. Turns out we don't even have to wait until the swearing in to get a taste. Trump and his sycophants are practically fellating Julian Assange and it's creepy as hell. I'll never get that interview
image of Hannity looking dreamily at Assange out of my head ("oh Julian - you complete me").
Anywho, back to Trump's disorder. He now pledges to revamp the intelligence community because they are way off base on that whole Russian hacking thing. So that's how it's going to be, apparently - give the big guy the answers he wants or step aside. 17 intelligence agencies are tarnishing the Trump brand so now they're the ones in the crosshairs. Pence is assigned to remind everyone about the WMD screwup....the new prez is going to make the CIA great again. And the FBI, NSA etc
Meanwhile - again with the NPD - Trump teases the nation with claim that he alone has information that the intelligence pros don't have and there's going to be a big reveal. Coming soon.

umm-kay...how bout from yer new boy, George Will?
Obama has been among the most loquacious of our presidents, but can you call to mind from his Niagara of rhetoric a memorable sentence or even phrase? If power is the ability to achieve intended effects, his rhetoric has been powerless to produce anything but an empty, inconsequential reputation for speaking well.
He assured congressional Democrats that they could safely vote for Obamacare because "you've got me." He would demonstrate his magic when campaigning for it and for them. Seven years after he said this, it remains unpopular, and they are fewer than they were. There are 11 fewer senators and 62 fewer representatives from the Democratic Party than on Jan. 20, 2009.

Heh heh. All he needs is a Smithers and a "release the hounds" button on his desk.

That was some circus at the prez-elect's news conference today. Nazis, russkies, female tax attorneys, campaigning, bold predictions and bolder promises, media bashing
the faithful's wet dream come true

The media has been driven to the equivalent or lower than inforwars. They can't verify ANYTHING, yet publish anyway? Isn't that pretty damn close to definition of libel/slander?
Sorry but why the focus on the tax attorney's sex? IF she was hot, okay.

I think the current term for publishing wild allegations with no substantiation is called "fake news." The practice of fake news has been going on for a long time, including exploding pickup trucks, forged documents proving W's draft dodging, Benghazi was caused by a video, if you like your doctor you get to keep your doctor, Hillary's email server was perfectly legal, Brian Williams' war coverage, Hillary will beat Trump in a landslide, etc.
With the "golden showers" story, the MSM has hit a new low. I didn't think that was possible, but it is. What's next? A documentary series on Trump ordering the Secret Service to dig up his long-dead brother for a little necrophilia?
