That pretty much nails the Establishment half of the GOP. Often also called the old, bald, fat, rich, angry white man's party.
I haven't been to that other site yet, but if Talent has gone way overboard, then Tick, hedge and JD may need to go over there and do an intervention.

Can't get into that place. Don't know Millens first name. Probably for the best though. Would have been fun.

I don't think his views are particularly on the fringe, it's just that it is a very noticeable shift from where he was ideologically. That said, who wants to listen to and read stuff that simply echoes your own beliefs? I believe everyone needs to remember the words of Aristotle: "it is the mark of an educated man to be able to entertain a thought without (necessarily) accepting it."

Maybe that's a thing now. Come across as a liberal in one forum and be right-wing in another. Bi-politically-curious..
Who knows what's up with kids these days.

I remain more of a Clinton Democrat than not. What was once "liberal" 20 years ago is moderate at best these days. I still voted for PAH because, well, competence. I also voted for Portman. My ballot was split.
I have zero interest in siding with progressives, and zero interest in siding with populist nonsense. So, I'm without a party.
The bulk of the active posters on the other forum are progressive, so I take issue with them more often than the singleton Trumpian.

Hiya Talent. Welcome back. I just completed a cursory review of your new digital home. I conclude that:
1. You make a LOT more sense over there than you used to here.
2. The Lions thread is very polite and policy wonkish. Even AA is civil over there. You yourself haven't had to pull your old "esad" "kyr" invectives. We're still pretty rough-and-tumble over here. The current meme in vogue is hedge's "I wish you ____", where you fill in the blank with creative ways the other person died a painful death.
3. Someone on that that board named a thread "The Lions are the biggest sucks that ever sucked a suck" - a blatant rip off of your old statement about Ohio State. That may be actionable. You're welcome.
Finally, AA says that I am responsible for running you (and all our alumni) off PNN. Is that true?
Come back here anytime.

Quit crying, you mewling little bitch. That's the fourth time I have read you pleading with various posters to come to your defense over my comments to you. I imagine you keep hoping for someone to assuage your bruised and delicate ego over the bitter soupcon of truth I offered you.
I'm civil to those who deserve civility.

Prof:
Heh. Our shared hatred of AA has always united us. Then again, that's shared with all sentient mankind. I do wish I was here for kick-6 justice-dispensing.
Re politics, I'm mostly over posting about it. A decade of PNN was enough! I sometimes post if the topic is if interesr, but it's often way wonkish and pedantic. My biggest personal shift is in terms of SJW. I'm still very much an MLK-guy...content of character. That's now a moderately conservative view. Oh well. Them young kids are crazy.
But mostly I post about CFB. Though, I do miss the ALABAMA IS WAR!!!!!/rest of sec is pillow fight chatter. And, if course, the WWAVC.
So, in closing...GFY.
