I wonder if the girl he's dating is real.

It's actually kind of funny. Whether he did it for attention on a social media outlet or just wants to show he's firmly committed to ND, it's kind of funny.

Did y'all notice one of his comments regarding Woolly? Cyber high 5 to Jama.

I may have started Woolly but it is no longer owned by me. With my new job(Nielsen), had to hand the domain to someone else. Can't be directly involved with advertisers or influencing public opinion from any position of power(heh, I sure was a powerful opinion influence).

How much did you sell it for?

How does Mrs. Bama Jama like running it?

According to http://www.worthofweb.com/website-value/woollyal.com it was worth 16K, I sold it for much less...zero dollars. The "Pen" is worth a whopping 60 bucks, heh.

Oh and to answer Tiger, there is no Mrs. anymore and likely never will be again. One tour of hell was enough for me.

Sorry to hear about your marital fortunes.

Johnny Carson once said, if he ever considered marriage again, he would instead go find a woman he didn't like very much and give her half his assets.

Lewis Grizzard said he would just give them his house.

If you studied Johnny Carson long enough you would get it. Once is enough.

Ahhh, Lewis Grizzard. His stories about his marriages were classics, especially in the epic, She Tore My Heart Out and Stomped That Sucker Flat. I liked the one where he snuck into his house at dawn after a night of drinking. He was just dropping his pants when his wife woke up, looked at the clock, and said, "Where have you been all night?" He instantly pulled his pants back, buttoned his shirt and said, "I've been here all night, honey. I just didn't want to wake you. I've gotta be at work early today." He finished getting dressed and off he went.

I also like the story where one of his wives asked him over breakfast, "If you were a bachelor again, what would you eat?" He said, "I've always liked Mrs. Paul's fish sticks." When he came home from work that evening, all her belongings were gone, and there was a box of Mrs. Paul's fish sticks on the dinner table.

Yes, I still miss Lewis Grizzard.

And don't get me started about his favorite dog Catfish.

Lewis had a long list of reasons why dogs were better than wives. I just remember a couple:

- If you come in late after drinking, your dog is just happy to see you. He doesn't ask why you smell like another dog.

- When your dog goes into the bathroom, he just wants a quick drink from the toilet. He never locks himself in there for hours because he's upset at something.

If you want to know who really loves you, lock your dog and your wife in the trunk for a couple of hours and see which one is glad to see you when you open the lid.

Ah Lewis Grizzard...he's how I prefer to picture your typical southern male: can't maintain a marriage, hates change, is rarely sober, and constantly lectures the rest of the country about how damn great Dixie is and how south'run ways are best...before vomiting bourbon all over himself.

Grizzard well represents the Deep South. But Tennessee is better represented by the likes of Snuffy Smith
