Well, it ain't a witch hunt anymore, is it? Double-down Donnie made his public appeal to China yesterday and all of his defenders are having to regroup and retool. Weirdly ironic in light of how a special prosecutor was appointed to investigate foreign meddling in a U.S. election and whether there were Americans involved in soliciting the meddling (remember "Russians if you're listening..?).

Nevertheless, kudos to crotch, crash, and especially prof for their unabashed and unvarnished enthusiasm for Trump. Others prefer a vantage point that is supportive but …..less tribal? More refined, maybe. heh

What I find fascinating (almost as fascinating as the idea of Trump as down to earth American patriot) is how the political, mega-corporatist class of DC, NY, LA (and London, Paris, Toronto, Moscow, Tokyo, Shanghai, etc etc ) has to pretend that this sort of global quid pro quo environment and expanding their influence into keeping every country’s government in check from outside their borders isnt something that they are normally totally for.

I've read that Volker provided evidence there was no quid pro quo and that Trump expressly told Ukraine officials as much.

Trump needs to force Nancy's hand and call for an official impeachment vote in the House. This would give the Republicans power to subpena witnesses to debunk this nonsense and Trump could weigh in with his counsel. Right now the Dums are making a mockery of the Constitution and turning this into a Kangaroo Court. Good News is the American people ( those that actually have a little common sense ) are seeing right through this and will voice their anger next November. MAGA!
