I bought the Porky's box set with all three movies. Jesus. The sequels are horrible.

reboot:
Harold Ramis and John Belushi. Scott Rudin, Steven Soderbergh, David Gordon Green and Will Ferrell. John Waters and Divine. John Candy. Chris Farley. Stephen Fry. Buck Henry. John Goodman. Throughout three decades, these men and others of various power and influence have applied (or at least attached) themselves to what was proven the most unadaptable literary property of the last half-century: John Kennedy Toole's searing comic masterpiece A Confederacy of Dunces. And now, Zach Galifianakis, director James Bobin and screenwriter Phil Johnston reportedly have formed the triumvirate that will help make Dunces the most unadaptable literary property of the next half-century. Vulture passes along word that Bobin (The Muppets, Flight of the Conchords) and Johnston (Cedar Rapids) are developing the adaptation with Rudin and Paramount, the latter of whom have seen more talent come and go through the project's revolving door than virtually any other unproduced film in a generation. Galifianakis would play Ignatius J. Reilly, the corpulent antihero of Toole's posthumous, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, whose exploits around New Orleans and in his home life with his mother (and the ongoing internal dialogue and wild local character tying it all together) have made for canonical reading over the years — even while succumbing to what many of its Hollywood pursuers have written off as a curse. Suicide, murder, overdoses, hurricanes and general studio ennui are among the obstacles to have faced Confederacy's leap to the big screen over the years — not least because Paramount execs likely hear the title and argue, "Didn't we make three of those with Michael Bay?" Anyway, it bears repeating that despite everyone's best intentions and all those Louisiana tax incentives and the cautious optimism of Toole's devoted fan base, not only will this movie never get made, but there's not even a script yet. First things first! And when all else fails, consider Reilly's gold-plated lament as we move on to something... safer: "Apparently I lack some particular perversion which today's employer is seeking."

he reminds me more of IJR than any other actor to date. Belushi may have been good. Farley and Candy - no

that HBO series on photogs in war zones (or in some cases drug wars) "Witness" is pretty good, at the least first one set in Juarez. I like Charles Bowden, the Vennum-esque author of "Murder City," who intimated the army was doing most of the killing there and, like the police, was just another gang fighting for power.

I liked the first few episodes I watched, but then it just got to be too obviously scripted and formulated, down to the bullshit closing of every show where they are settin' round the dinner table and prayin, and then the Waltons-like "good night, John Boy" sequence at the end. But dey famous now, BO!

"A. Wilford Brimley (born September 27, 1934) is an American actor. He has appeared in such films as The China Syndrome,[2] Cocoon, The Thing and The Firm. He had a recurring role on the 1970s television series The Waltons. Brimley has also done television commercials, including advertisements for Quaker Oats[2] and Liberty Medical."
What was Brimley's recurring role on The Walton's? Bastard half bro of the ladies who brewed The Recipe?
I knew she was going to get pregnant by Irish Slim Charles...I was just a season or two off. I thought she was getting knocked up after the first roll in the hay. When she asked for a diaphram, I knew it was a wrap (excuse the pun).
I didn't expect for him to be killed, though.
Also, Gyps Rosetti will be done in by his own men, I'm sure.
I really like how all the different factions are intertwined now.
I'd love for Nucky to take in the half face guy as his muscle. The guy is complex but a stone cold killer.
