I'm switching between FOX News and MSNBC midday shows (I'm home with a cold).

FOX: "Voter fraud is rampant! Voter suppression is non-existent!"

MSNBC: "Voter suppression is rampant! Voter fraud is non-existent!"

FOX: "There;s an uptick in Latino early voting, but the Latino vote is not monolithic."

MSNBC: "Clinton has Latino firewalls in Nevada and Florida."

Both are pretty much agreed that Clinton has a 3 to 5 point lead nationally and has the easier path.

Bad news for Hillary invariably means a drop in the market. Weird, considering investors used to favor the republican pro-business candidates.
Wall Street wants Hillary to win because they want their investment in her to pay off. They expect a hefty return for all those $250 speeches and Clinton Foundation contributions.

As an aside for the Trump supporters:

Does it bother you that the core Trump supporter is a non-college educated white male baby boomer?

I'm not a Trump supporter, but I understand where they're coming from. And your disdain and condescension of non-college educated white male baby boomers, which is typical of Democrats, is precisely why they are supporting Trump. They know exactly what your side thinks of them.

That is a shame. Democrats used to champion such people like factory workers, truck drivers, waitresses, miners, etc: Now the compassionate, tolerant, pluralist, diverse, and inclusive left just sneers at them. Just like the GOP Establshment always has, except before elections. They truly have no major political party that gives a crap about them. Trump's candidacy is their great big middle finger to both parties.

Bullshit. Factory and mill workers and miners just want a GED and a job like dear old dad's. Those horse-and-buggy jobs aren't ever coming back and even orange-skin-small-hands knows it. Dems just aren't willing to pander to the easily-duped. Meanwhile high-tech industrial jobs go begging because of unqualified applicants.

And we know which party frowns on pinhead educators and fancy degrees. The same one that denies climate science and rejects green energy in all it's forms.

Yeah. They feel the liberal love. Their concerns are remarkably similar to Bernie voters - bad trade deals, crony capitalism, insider privelege, etc.

They should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get off their lazy butts and get engineering degrees.

You forgot that they are all racists too.

If they were black or gay or illegal immigrant, Dem's would love them. There would be none of this bootstrap, go get a tech job talk. They would be lauded as victims and reparated.

No, those people willingly drank the elitist wing of the GOP's lies, to wit:

1 - "You don't need a union taking your dues! The coal mine owner will put your health and quality of life over his profitability."

2 - "The country will run better if you pay more taxes on $40 grand than the owner of the company pays on $40 million."

3 - "Help us keep down those freeloading coloreds and Mexicans - we'll make sure that your kids can climb up the ladder and join us. Well, maybe your grand kids."

The left doesn't sneer at those folks who continue to vote GOP because St. Reagan made them feel good. We pity the 60% of them that have good hearts for not realizing that they've been duped for the past 50 years and continue to vote against their own self-interest.

The other 40% are racist idiots who are getting what they deserved.

"Democrats used to champion such people like factory workers, truck drivers, waitresses, miners, etc"

Ironically, the repubs never did, and still don't, but yet those same people are now voting for them...

I submit that the 60% that you pity are pretty much done with the GOP. By nominating Trump in the primaries, they effectively accomplished a hostile takeover. I doubt the Establishment will ever let that happen again. They'll probably copy the Democrats and come up with a superdelegate system that rigs the primaries against outsiders, like what happened to Bernie.

They certainly won't go to the Democrats, who despise them as much as the Establishment GOP.

I wonder where they'll go. There are a lot of them - enough to pull off a coups d'etat of one of the two major parties. That's a lot of voters if the Democrats go back to their former role as the party of the average working person, which would be a big change.

doubtful our generation is affected by whomever wins

kids and grandkids should be voting on whoever can keep from bankrupting them in the future.

entire election cycle there was 1 question on entitlements and budget deficits.
I think trump handles that better then the entitlement queen who will do noting in her 8 years but make it a problem for the next administration

god I hope we get somebody electable in 2020

I will likely vote for anybody under the age of 50. We need to move into the 21st century, get somebody who grew up using the internet and cell phones, not somebody who will be pushing 80 by the time they leave office. Same with SCOTUS nominees. I'm tired of dinosaurs running shit, life is for the young, not for these Methusela's with one foot in the grave...

Ummm with biz pushing H1B visas and lies about shortages of engineers the upper end isn't safe either. There is no shortage of STEM workers. Salaries would be skyrocketing if that were the case. and they haven't since net bust and y2k spending ended.
