That well is 300' deep, and was drilled through a layer of granite. The water should be okay. The pills aren't a bad idea, though irradiation (i.e. nukes) means we're all toast. I'd rather go quickly slowly in an irradiated wasteland anyway.
I'm thinking more of a collapse of civilization scenario, e.g. after the Visigoths seized Rome.

Remember, people poison wells in wartime.

When Hillary comes after traditionalist Christians, that presents an entirely different set of challenges. In that case, I'll put out a bunch of motion detectors on my farm, dig a series of escape tunnels, and hide cross-country motorcycles near the exits of those tunnels. The motion detectors will tell me they are coming and from what direction. The tunnels will let me escape. The motorcycles will help me get away.

Yes. Accurate coordinates would be nice. And any defensive measures you've already put in place.

See, that's the thing, really. Trump isn't going to be running anything. He will delegate everything to Pence anyway. The only difference is, with Trump, you'll have him kicking hornet nests and stirring things up.

Trump and Pence will be spending a lot of time with their families starting next Wednesday.

Pence supported and signed an Indiana bill that forced women to seek funerary services for their fetus, whether they wanted it or not. It required all fetal tissue - at any stage of development, and no matter whether it came from an abortion or a miscarriage - to be cremated or buried. The obvious goal was to prevent fetal tissue from being used in research, but it went much further than that. The burial provision meant that technically, even if a woman had a miscarriage after 8 weeks of pregnancy at home, she would have to keep the blood and tissue, take it to a hospital or clinic, and arrange to have it buried or cremated by a funeral home. The law was overturned by a federal judge
People need to know this shit.

OMG, the cradle of the establishment has been acting like Trump!!lll
BOSTON (AP) — Harvard University suspended its men's soccer team for the remainder of the season because of sexual comments made about members of the women's soccer team.
University President Drew Faust said in a statement Thursday night that an investigation into the 2012 team found that their "appalling" actions were not isolated to one year or the actions of a few, but appeared to be more widespread across the team and continued through the current season.
"The decision to cancel a season is serious and consequential, and reflects Harvard's view that both the team's behavior and the failure to be forthcoming when initially questioned are completely unacceptable, have no place at Harvard, and run counter to the mutual respect that is a core value of our community," Faust said.
A 2012 document uncovered last month by The Harvard Crimson student newspaper rated the attractiveness of recruits on the women's team and included lewd comments about them. Members of the men's team called it their "scouting report" and circulated it online.
"I was saddened and disappointed to learn that the extremely offensive 'scouting report' produced by the 2012 men's soccer team continued through the current season," Dean Rakesh Khurana said in a statement. "As I have stated, such behavior is antithetical to Harvard's fundamental values."

That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. Trump would be a disaster on international issues, and that's bad enough, but Pence is barely a step above Ted Cruz on social issues. And maybe not even a step above...

Presidential Election 2016: 100 Really Good Reasons Your Republican Family Member Shouldn't Vote for Donald Trump http://qz.com/825811/presidential-elect ... ald-trump/
These collections of The Donald's 'greatest' hits are a dime a dozen but I'll recommend this one. Ten categories of trump-stained outrageousness, with a concise description of each.
Weirdly, there's a school of thought that says since there are SO many of these seemingly-disqualifying items, they somehow lose their effectiveness. A kind of sensory-overload "more is less" quandary. Could explain why Cruz voted the way he did...he and his family are the subject of a bunch of those shenanigans. heh

That's pretty big talk from a guy whose sect crumpled like a cheap suit at the feet of czars, Soviets, and Putin.
