Further proof that only conservatives/talk radio/tea party can incite violence with their message/words.

...written by prominent opinion/columnist Leornard Pitts.....reaction/silence from msm is deafening.

So yeah, I don’t want the GOP defeated.

I want it immolated.

I want it razed to the foundation, reduced to a moonscape, left unlivable even for cockroaches, much less newts. I want it treated like boot heels treat ants and furnaces treat ice cubes, treated like a middle school basketball team playing the ’71-’72 Lakers.

Defeat is not enough. Let there be humiliation. Let there be pain.

John Podesta.......obviously no "intent" here, move on.

I suppose if you would try to equate metaphors about the destruction of a political party..with an incitement to violence on a person or persons..

then you probably also fall into this category.

More words of wisdom from tick's fav.....

In 2013, Barack Obama professed himself "angry" about "inexcusable" IRS behavior, before he decided there was not a "smidgen" of IRS corruption. He claimed to have learned about the IRS behavior from the media. Now he falsely claims that he learned from the media about Clinton's email abuses, although they had exchanged emails using her private server.

The defining scandal of the Obama era has been the media's lackadaisical consensus that Obama's administration has had no serious scandal. This, although with the Justice Department protecting the IRS, the administration has (in the words of Richard Nixon's White House counsel John Dean) used "the available federal machinery to screw our enemies."

Clinton, the ultimate author of her current agony, resembles no one so much as Nixon in her paranoia and joyless pursuit of joy. Her government career began with the House committee preparing Nixon's impeachment. Twenty-two years earlier, he had saved his career by addressing a supposed scandal with his nationally broadcast "Checkers speech," which was mawkish, abasing and effective.

Woa. According to RCP, Clinton's national lead is now down to 1.7%

Hillary's Electoral College lead is still in decent shape:

Speaking of Chicago, the Cubs won the World Series. We can now expect Trump to win the election, Hedge to convert to Catholicism, Toe to vote For Hillary, JD to vote Republican, and AA to become an Auburn fan.

JD will admit that OJ did it.

Hedge will start posting things like, "I wish you would have a great day!"

From SI - all the 7-game World Series in a presidential election year going back nearly 100 years...an interesting trend

1968 (AL team wins) -- Nixon (R) wins
1964 (NL team wins) -- Johnson (D) wins
1960 (NL team wins) -- Kennedy (D) wins
1956 (AL team wins) -- Eisenhower (R) wins
1952 (AL team wins) -- Eisenhower (R) wins
1940 (NL team wins) -- Roosevelt (D) wins

Footnote:

The 1912 World Series went to a Game 7, but it actually took eight games to crown the Red Sox champions (one game ended in a tie). Though the American League won the title, democrat Woodrow Wilson won the White House

In conclusion:

Cubs win - Hillary wins; Trump sues, Ryan quits, markets tumble, Mosul falls, markets rebound, Comey quits, 2016 ends

I'm very happy for all Cubs fans. Their love and optimism for their team, which often borders on the irrational, has finally been requited. Good for them.

Now, Vanderbilt will beat Bama to win the SEC.
