What's the deal with Calvinism? According to their belief, it doesn't matter what you do, it's been determined by god who is going to be saved and who is not from all eternity, irregardless of your actions or your prayers and repentance or whatever, right?

Trump is the Jack Chick of current presidential politics. The media is the catholic church and the Clintons are satan. That really is about the intellectual level he has run his campaign on. Sadly, many millions of people have gone for it. Much like they did Chick's work. Trump resonates with precisely that type of person...

Even though I attended a Calvinist seminary, please understand I am FAR from being a Calvinist myself. Here's what the Calvinists say:

Yes, the Calvinists believe God created all human beings, but all human beings are sinful and deserving of damnation. God picked some human beings to save ("the elect"), but left the rest to their predestined fate.

The elect are divinely programmed to believe in Christ, and remain in that faith until they die and go to heaven. But they didn't choose to believe in Christ. There is no such thing as free will. They are divinely programmed. You can spot the elect by their faith and perseverance in that faith.

Likewise, the damned have no free will either. They are programmed to never believe in Christ, or not to persevere in that faith until they die and go to hell. That's how you can spot them.

Democrats: RNC violating anti-voter intimidation agreement

Democrats are asking a federal judge to block the Republican National Committee from coordinating with Donald Trump’s campaign on “ballot security” efforts, saying the RNC is violating a decades old legal agreement that bars the group from tactics that critics call voter intimidation.

That alt-right, KKK-related, and Neo-Nazi rag, the Washington Post, reports on the latest leaked emails regarding the Clintons:

washingtonpost.com/amphtml/politics/inside-bill-clinton-inc-hacked-memo-reveals-intersection-of-charity-and-personal-income/2016/10/26/3bf84bba-9b92-11e6-b3c9-f662adaa0048_story.html

It reinforces what anybody with a brain already knows: that the Clintons traded their public office for personal gain for tens of millions of dollars. Their careers have been the very definition of corruption since they were selling the Lincoln bedroom and doing fund raisers at Buddhist temples back in the 80's.

They've never been held accountable in the past, so it boggles the mind what new heights of corruption they will achieve when they get back in the White House. As a country, we will get the presidency we deserve.

Lessee. Cheney stepped down as CEO of Halliburton in order to become dubya's running mate. Halliburton gave Cheney a severance bonus of 34 million. Later, Halliburton makes 35 billion in Iraq alone. Quid pro quo? Is that even a serious question?

It will be pointed out (rightly) that Cheney isn't running for office, and Halliburton is a by-God American corporation that employs American peoples. However there were tens of thousands of dead and wounded red-blooded Americans related to that corporate bonanza, which seldom gets the attention it deserves unfortunately. (4 dead in Benghazi being the ultimate senseless gubmint betrayal)

No, but it makes it nearly universal, so that everybody whining about the Clintons doing it, as if they are the only ones who ever did, ring hollow. Just like everything else you ever say...
