I only saw Tel Aviv during day light hours so all I know is it's a party atmosphere. As I said, Jerusalem should not be missed. I drove all the way across Germany from the French border almost to Poland and the country is beautiful, especially in the fall. Reminded me of Gatlinburg if the Blue Ridge Parkway was straightened out and turned into the Autobahn.

We were on a detachment to Ramstein AB for two weeks and one of the guys in my squadron was born at Swabisch Gmund.(sp?) The autobahn is to be experienced. So is the food. So many restaruants that are really people's homes and I doubt there is bad food or drink at any of them.

Enjoy. It's a once in a lifetime experience unless your very wealthy or in the U. S. NAVY!

The Navy goes to cool places. The Army sends you to sucky places like Saudi Arabia and the Korean DMZ and Fayetteville NC.

How dare you besmirch Cumberland County and its fine collection of ladies on Hay Street.

Is there not a church group close by you can talk to? Surely some of them have made the pilgrimage to the holy land or participated in a mission trip who can point a thing or two out to you. In fact, maybe you can look up a forum on the the Internet, join it, and ask some questions there?

I have several co-workers who have been and who are giving me tips about stuff to do. My hosts are used to having visitors and I know some of them from their visits here. I'll be there for 2 weeks, so I already have a list of places I would like to try to see. I'll take pics and post them here when I get back.

hehehe I'm not complaining. I'm just venting my frustration. I wish we could shake our road funk. All in all, they are actually doing alright. Like Hack, I'll take whatever win we can get.

We sweep the gaytors and our RPI is still 110? Looks like we can kiss the NCAAs goodbye even if we win the rest of our regualr season games.

Sucks that the ratings can't mitigate what befell us pre-Stokes.
