fokkin zebras stole that superbowl from us

that catch on sportscenter looked like there was no basis to challenge it--Ihad the sound off and didn't hear why it was challenged

torrey smith did me well

can 3 teams from the same confeerence play in the BCS --thought there was a 2 team limit. be a shame for bama or lsu to be stuck in the sandusky bowl

By the by, I think that if the Lance Moore play happened today, it wouldn't be a catch based on the NFL's rules for making a catch.

That was about 2,839 times more of a catch than the Lance Moore play. There needs to be some plain, old common sense inserted into the stupid Calvin Johnson rule.
Both should have counted. The Bengals player, the ball never left his hands.

Should have? Maybe. I still disagree that the Lance Moore play is a catch based on the rules, and it's much less of a catch than Calvin Johnson or Gresham or Louis Murphy. But then again, the Saints Super Bowl was rigged, so there's that.

Here's the catch but it doesn't go to where the ball hits the ground.

Fuckin NFL

"When the receiver went to the ground, he had the ball in his right hand, the ball touched the ground and his hand came off he ball by about that much," Winter said, holding his fingers apart by an inch. "He then re-grasped it and brought it in."

The money I paid to the refs for the Saints was well worth it. I learned from the Oilers Mike Renfro. Don't leave it to chance. Pay the refs.

You should've already learned all that from Barry Switzer.

all this time Jonkey was out there, waiting, watching, biding his time before he had an in to come back in here and restart his bitching about an NFL call.

you've got to admire that.

An NFL call that history has shown I was completely in the right about - you forgot to mention that.

"Did you type that with a straight face?..."

Absolutely. Who's earned the right to dispute LSU as #1?

Of course there's going to be a best of the rest, but who can point to their regular season and say they have a right to dispute LSU's #1 ranking? Yet someone will get that chance, but won't have earned it. They'll have earned the right to say they're #2, but they won't have earned the right to say they've proven themselves as good or better than LSU.

So sure, some years a playoff will resolve a legitimate dispute, this year it does nothing. And we never, ever, have 8 teams with a dispute, and only once in a blue moon even have four.

It is an impressive rack.

However, is film that expensive in their PD that they had to use a mirror showcasing Central Booking's kitchenette in order to take a profile shot? Sad...and almost looks fake.
