Nice Apocalypse Now reference. Good work.

That one doesn't get much world-wide acclaim (nor do landmines or sniper towers), but the prospect of kids never reunited with their parents would surely give the lawbreakers and/or asylum seekers pause.
If we had The Wall, there would be no need for family separations, fraudulent asylum seekers, land mines or sniper towers. The Wall is compassionate.

Biden brags about when he, as VP, threatened Ukraine with loss of US aid if the Ukrainians don’t fire one particular prosecutor. They did.

That prosecutor was in the middle of investigating Biden’s son for Manafort-style business dealings in Ukraine.

That just has “Special Counsel” written all over it.

No, it was outright lies...

I was thinking Ann Coulter as the Special Counsel for that one. She's a lawyer.

I would also assign Trey Gowdy as Special Counsel for the Deep State FISA crimes and spying on the Trump campaign for the Democrats, Andrew Napolitano as Special Counsel for the blatantly rigged investigation and exoneration of Hillary, Megyn Kelly as Special Counsel into the Clinton Foundation, Jeanine Pirro as Special Counsel for Loretta Lynch briefing Bill Clinton on the FBI investigation into his wife, Kimberly Guilfoyle as Special Counsel into the IRS targeting conservatives and destroying evidence. That would be a good start. They're all lawyers, and about as unbiased as Mueller's hit team was.

When they were done with their important work, they could gather together to form the legal Dream Team of Special Prosecutors to ask the ultimate question: What did Obama know about all this excrement that was going on during his presidency, and when did he know it? That should take us right up to the 2020 election.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him cut a deal to roll over on Hillary and DOJ under Trump would likely offer it

What if Obama and Hillary go to jail and Trump gets reelected. Wouldn't that be hilarious?

Lowering interest rates is actually part of the problem. Obama had 0% interest on his watch and all that does is encourage a bunch of investment that cannot all possibly pay off in the big picture which means you're "solving" the problem by creating another bubble. The real solution is very simple and there's only one way to do it. Don't let a millionth of the population have half the wealth. Bernie talks about this all the time. End Christmas for the 0.1% and we can actually have a more reasonable society.

and how do you propose this transfer of wealth?
How did they transfer so many trillions from the middle class to the very top over the last 40 years?

and the news from the absurd........

"On Wednesday, Mount Holyoke College announced that the newly-selected campus police chief Daniel Hect was placed on administrative leave after a backlash when students discovered he had liked conservative tweets on his Twitter account.

The whole ordeal started when Hect was appointed to lead the Mount Holyoke College and Smith College shared campus police departments. Then on February 6, Hect announced his new appointment at MHC and Smith on his personal Twitter account, The Daily Wire previously reported.

“I am excited to announce I have accepted the position of Chief of Police at Mount Holyoke and Smith colleges, two of the most prestigious all women’s institutions in the nation,” he tweeted.

Hect’s excitement was short lived because soon after, students investigated his Twitter account, finding a few conservative-leaning tweets that he “liked.” Two tweets were from the National Rifle Association, one wishing followers a Merry Christmas and one stating, “If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.” Other tweets were from President Trump discussing the border wall and the government shutdown.

The MHC student who shared screenshots of the tweet said it was “unacceptable for someone in charge of keeping any community safe, let alone a campus as diverse as MHC's, to be publicly displaying his support for hateful regimes and organizations, as well as for individuals who demonize migrants from Mexico or other latin american nations.”"

I thought I had caught a break on insurance for a bit.

My wife's school still offered the HMO plan with reasonable co-pays and an affordable (by my standards) premium. And with teacher salaries, I figured they only jack up the rates by $20 or $30 a year and we could ride that out for a few years.

Unfortunately last night - whatever board makes decisions on those sorts of thing decided to move to the HSA approach with a high deductible. I'm not sure of the reasoning but I would assume they pitched that costs were unsustainable.

I really, really despise Obama for his attempts to provide healthcare for everyone.

I'm sure he stays up at night losing sleep in his multi-million dollar home, government pension and lifetime health insurance about some middle class guy in Ohio.

He doesn't. Nor do I. I've had free healthcare for over 4 years now. Ya gotta learn how to beat these asshole politicians at their game. Do you really think anyone in Congress pays a co-pay or a deductible? Or any out of pocket expense? I had a hernia surgery that cost me zilch under Obamacare. Works good for me. Fuck Washington
