I'll give George RR Martin credit where due, but the secret of Jon Snow's parentage (and what his real name is) has got to be one of the lamest and worse kept. Ned getting kilt is like the twist in Sixth Sense. Who is Jon's mom is the twist from "The Happening".

There are fan theories but there is no clear cut factual answer who his parents are... as far as I can tell
