DS, I'm laughing about the wigger cop, but truly the main thing is that no one got hurt.

I'm sure he thought that he was doing the best thing for the kids by letting everything slide, but that's not the case in this day and age. He should have known better given everything that has been going on for over a year.

Ironically enough, wreck cases like that can be the hardest for the state to prove in DWI cases.

for all the thuggery, you'd think UNC could fare better than being 5LSB

jgravleyWRAL One of the search firms UNC is considering to help AD search is led by UNC grad and former NCSU AD Todd Turner.

lmao. I saw that and thought of you. Needless to say, I'm hoping that we don't pick Turner.

all I want is equal justice. An independent investigation and Todd Turner as your AD. is that too much to ask?

that's the same professor that accepted McAdoo's plagiarized paper and gave it a good grade. he also allowed Big Marv to take a 400 level class in Swahili before taking his remedial english class. Marv made a better grade in that 400 level swahili course than he did in remedial english. think about that. Tyler Hanblow took swahili under this guy. Thorpe doesnt think it's his job to check on how this guy runs his classes or gives out grades.

Thorp needs to go. The AfAm department needs nothing short of a complete housecleaning. Even if the guy was qualified--and he was--and had never completely left academia--he was still adjunct factory for Texas Southern--there was no reason to have him teach a course this past summer, especially with everything that has been going on this past year.

ShulerWolf wrote: Julius Peppers talks about his relationship with Carl Carey: http://magazine.stack.com/TheI...ining_Plan.aspx

Sent packing and told not to return until classes started, Julius had veered off course before the semester even began and marked himself as a problem child for newly-hired freshman advisor Carl Carey.

During his first days at UNC, Carey, who has a Ph.D. in educational psychology, was briefed on the football star. “I first met Carl my freshman year when he was assigned as the academic advisor for the whole freshman class,” Julius says. “But it ended up that he was specifically assigned to keep me in line. I came pretty close to failing out of UNC that first year, but Carl walked me through everything and helped me get through it.”
While Carey was prepping Julius for tests and retests in courses like Drama 15, Julius was doing just fine for himself when it came to his game.

Since when do freshman advisors perform tutoring duties?

I guess every frosh at unc got his/her personal valet to walk them through classes like Drama 15. hedge, DS what was your valets name? did they take test for you like Carey did for Peppers?

Question: Is it an honor code or NCAA violation?

you need an independent investigation. if you're innocent, you're innocent and more power to you. if these problems are as deep and widespread as they seem to be it needs to be fully uncovered and fixed. it may suck for a while but in the long run you'll be better off.

it was talking about academic advisor Carey. That's what my question was about.

I'm drunk. Fuck it.

I don't want an independent investigation though. Fuck almighty. You can find dirty shit at any school if you dig, but we certainly don't need any extra shit.
