I think Kerry Collins has about 5,000 more career yards than Brady. And even he can't fill Peyton's shoes.

if you buy into the idea that 'big regular season stats' = best QB ever.....

throw in Fouts, Moon, Marino, Jeff George, hell -- toss in Andre Ware's college career.....

and Fred Taylor is better than Gale Sayers....because, you know, his stats are bigger....

If Brady wins another 2 league MVPs then I will concede that he's a better pro qb than Manning. And no doubt he's off to a good start..

Yeah i guess you are right.

Scalpers and other ticket brokers will have ZERO tickets for the SB. My fault. Carry on.

Maybe but we sucked last year and still made the playoffs so can't complain to much I guess.
You have the Jags and Tit'ns in your division...you're already half way there. Never in my life have I seen a game both teams deserved to lose more than the shitfest from last Sunday.

Did those guys all win a Super Bowl, too? You know...like Manning did? Were they also SB MVPs? Like Manning?

Because that's your standard. And by your standard, Mark Rypien was a better QB than Dan Marino. Right?

Idiot.

Point being, anyone can win one Super Bowl.

Thanks Hack!

according to Hack, any idiot can win a super bowl.

That way, after Kerry Collins leads the Colts to the promised land, he can say 'I told you so'.

either that, or Jerome Bettis a better running back than Jim Brown, because he has bigger stats AND a ring....

"I think Kerry Collins has about 5,000 more career yards than Brady. And even he can't fill Peyton's shoes."

NFL's Top 100 Players of All-Time
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31751_162-2 ... 91697.html

Peyton Manning was the only active player to crack the top ten in either (NFL coaches/players and fan voting) list.

It's not even worth arguing anymore. The experts handed down their verdict last year. BEST players of all time. Peyton was number 8 (one spot behind former-Vol Reggie White).

Montana, Unitas, and Manning....the top 3 QBs of alltime. So sayeth the NFL.

it is what it is

I love the circular logic at work here. SBs are all that matters.

...until you point out the fact that Peyton has won a SB -- then it's no big deal.

Face reality, kids. Peyton has the superior stats that are used to measure an individual player's capabilities at the quarterback position and he's got the ring.

Brady goes injured and his team goes merrily along, winning at virtually the same rate as they did when he was playing.

Peyton is injured and his team falls apart.

The verdict is in. The Earth is not flat. Come to the light. Be not afraid. The truth shall set you free.

New england has started losing the big game over the last 5 years seem to be the new indy the last 5 years. the year they did get to the superbowl was the biggest crash and burn of all letting eli beat them
