Where are my manners? Allow me to communicate in a fashion you can more easily understand:

Yore mama and dem utter vol fans done tawt you ain't nuttin wrong with that word a cow's age ago or ya dun lernt it in skool. Reckon all of it.
I saw what you did there. That was awesome.

Alistair Cook-to-Jethro Bodine in 6 seconds flat. Damn. Nation. You're like a speech shape-shifter..
He didn't go Jethro. Maybe Jed. Jed had common sense even if he didn't have a 6th grade education.

Jacksonville. Stationed at the old NAS Cecil Field for most of the 9 years in the Navy. Strange thing is that's where I work now. In the same hangar I was stationed in with VFA-132.

In other news, Chizik says he's keeping Trotter as the starter. That's one smart coach the Barners got themselves.

...gotta keep everyone in the conversation...

Don't steal my stuff, make a change, but keep the intent intact and repackage it. Or if you do, at least wait a bit.

I will quit the field, AA. But first...I want you to say

"I

The analogy does not fit, Tick. You've never been close to getting me in an arm bar - literal or figurative.

Trotter is terrible, but Chiz is smart not to make Keil Frazier - a true freshman - the new captain of the Titanic that our offense is this year.

And you are way behind the times, GBJ; the term "Barner" is not what Bama fans call Auburn fans anymore. The new term is "boogs." AA, please bring GBJ up to speed.

Heh.

I've never seen Talladega Nights. I prefer much higher comedy such as Storage Wars, or UT football.

I haven't heard 'boogs' - wouldn't use it or 'Barner'.

If you think "boogs" is up to speed, perhaps you should get out more often. If you want REAL high comedy, try reading through some of the comments on the UA and AU threads at al.com. Each person trying to out - idiot the other.

I regularly read al.com, but rarely read the comments section. For the same reason I also rarely read the message boards on ITAT. Too many middle-age Jiffy Lube managers spouting conspiracy theories and know more about coaching than the current coaching staff that just won a NC.

But sometimes, if I'm in the right mood, it is a hoot to read.

Not sure what's "funny" about that.

For the benefit of those who might not get your reference, I should probably give a little bit of background about myself...

I was born in NE Tennessee, all of my family is from there on both my Mom's and Dad's sides. Grew up rooting for the Vols throughout my childhood from as far back as I can remember. Went to UT straight out of high school. Still have fond memories of being 18 and sitting in the student section at Neyland -- screaming my head off while some guy named Reggie White made the biggest crowd I had ever been a part of erupt like maniacs.

With all of that in mind, if you're still confused about why I am a Tennessee Vol, then congratulations...you can now join AA's club and immediately double the membership.
