Bush walked out on his two wars and his Great Fucking Recession. He did zip about immigration reform, and he did less than zip wrt our broken healthcare system (and 60 million uninsured). He will go down in history as our WORST president in history (and there'll be a yuge gap between him and 2nd worst).

But hey, make a case for dubya if you dare. What'd he do that turned you on, toe? This oughta be good..
HE won't be the worst. After all, you have Harding and Buchanan (who incidentally was probably also gay, just an unrelated and inconsequential allegation). Bush will probably be in the bottom 10 though

IMHO, Bush was indeed a bad president. He botched Iraq for sure, and did leave the economy in a free-fall when he left. His administration was the the most fiscally irresponsible in history, only surpassed by Obama's. He tried to put an unqualified sycophant on SCOTUS.

One overlooked aspect of his presidency is his destruction of the Republican Party. The GOP has had two wings since the '70's: the original country clubbers, who care only about helping the rich get richer, and the newcomer religious conservatives, who care about social issues. Until Bush, those two wings flew in tandem with no problems. After Bush, they hate each other and are about to divorce. That's the biggest story of the W presidency.

Blaming a failed two term presidency on your predecessor is no different than denying OJ did it, you have to live in an alternative universe.

Considering where the country was when Obama took over, only an idiot would call his a failed presidency. But then, look who is saying that...

yeah we all know the middle class is thriving, black lives are better then ever, Obama care is a rousing success with insurance companies lining up to sign up patrons, terrorism is a word of the past, putin's Russia is in shambles, government programs are better then ever, less people are supporting more people, and social security and the budget deficits of the future are self sustaining nothing to see here just move along.

Are you including the Klansmen and neo-Nazis who joined because of the Southern Strategy in the 60s?

Here toe, let me help you out:

President Bush rallied the nation in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, standing amidst the rubble of the Twin Towers with bullhorn in hand, solidifying America's resolve to bring the terrorist perpetrators to swift justice.

JD, you really need to work on your paranoid fixation with the KKK and the Nazis. There are probably 12 step groups for that. You act as if they are some secret Wizard of Oz that pulls the strings of the Republican party and conservatives. Those kook groups are maybe 1% of the GOP, despite your persistent and wild conspiracy theories to the contrary.

By contrast, your kook groups, like BLM, have FAR more actual power in your party than the KKK and the Nazis have in the GOP.

As long as we're going all the way back to the '60's, we might as well review one of those many, many racial conspiracy theories that proved to be BS:

It should also be remembered that one of the chief architects of that hoax, Al Sharpton, is now a highly esteemed statesman on the Left.

psychology : a condition in which someone will not admit that something sad, painful, etc., is true or real

White people in general have a general discomfort in admitting the effects of racism. Republicans in particular have an inability to acknowledge their nakedly racist appeals. You have an advanced education, Prof, but continue to deny the overwhelming amount of data that shows for the past 50 years, the GOP has used race-baiting as its principal recruiting tool.

Salon. The floridasqueeze. Alternet. rawstory. mediaite. addicting info. newsbusters. The only source missing are theroot. Maybe louisfarrakhan.com too.

If you really want to quote media that passionately share your penchant for paranoid racial conspiracies, then be my guest. But, in fairness, please make Tick lift his ban on quoting infowars, Fox, breitbart, and other similarly slanted and partisan conservative sites.

Freedom and pro-West democracy have swept across the Middle East, Jihadism is on the run, Iran has given up acquiring nukes due to US pressure, violent crime has plummeted in most American cities, veterans are getting the care they need from the VA, the IRS has never targeted conservative groups simply for being conservative, the emails that proved they did it didn't magically disappear, those IRS officials that did it were punished, Benghazi really was attacked because of a youtube video, top secret government documents were never put on defenseless personal servers where they could easily be hacked, and never were, etc. etc.

So having a super majority defines a successful presidency?
