I remember when all of that was going down around here, but I googled "Peterson murder" anyway. Goddamn, a lot of guys by the name of Peterson have murdered their wives lately...

Getting my mid summer fix of Kentucky basketball, playing on the SEC network in Nassau. Refreshing after another dismal season for the Reds.

Kentucky has not had the stud white boy in the Calapari era, that can burn up the nets. Tyler Herro this kid is it. 22 point tonight. They are already comparing him to Rex Chapman.

I don't. At the very least, I don't think there is enough evidence to convict him.
We have an attorney in our firm who was a Nortel executive during the 90's before doing a mid-life career change and going to law school. He worked closely with Kathleen Peterson and was at the Peterson home on several occasions for social events.

well I assume he is ruined unless they paid the 1.5m life insurance policy to him, dude lost everything trying to get out of prison and then had to do one of those "we'll let you out if you don't sue us" plea agreements

Bama lands a recruit
One time UK target Kira Lewis Jr. has committed to Alabama and will reclassify to the class of 2018. The 6-foot-3, 160-pound guard trimmed his list just over a week ago but picked Alabama over 11 other schools that featured Kansas, Auburn, Providence, LSU, Ole Miss, Iowa State, Baylor, Indiana, Houston, Georgia and TCU. The Cats didn’t make that cut but UK didn’t watch much of Lewis this summer and contact had been limited since he visited UK a few months ago.
But the big news here is that Lewis Jr. will be enrolling at Alabama for this season.
Lewis Jr. is a good point guard that maybe in a different year lands an offer from the Cats, but the fact he’s looking to play this season means there was no chance Kentucky would have taken him. He’s been called the fastest player in the class of 2019 and there’s no denying he has great potential. Now the Cats will have to scheme to find ways to slow him down early in 2019.

I just got to watch UK play 4 games in 5 days against teams of varying talent.
I wasn't impressed with last years team.
This year is different. They are good - and they don't take their foot off the gas.
We play Duke in the opener for the season. I expect UK to win.

I am envious that UK is already playing exhibition games. I am not sure we've even practiced yet.

I don't know how fair that is but supposedly every couple of years, any college team can go on some tour and go around the rules a bit to play exhibition games.

It's a huge advantage for a team. Kudos to Cal for taking advantage of it. More teams should. I know I wish we did. I can guarantee you that if Saban were our bball coach we would be doing it too.
