"I resisted the urge to go into the "because I'm the man and I said so!" approach and had to take a more nuanced approach to voice my objections"
I'm assuming more nuanced means you just left out the first 5 words...

Not really. It would have to be pretty bad to have them pop up from six feet under. Being inturned in a cript or above ground tomb is much easier to wash away in a flood like this. Same thing happened during Katrina. They can't bury underground because they are below sea level. Can't have basements either.

between Amazon and this, Walmart has some serious problems in their future
Last year police were called to the store and three other Tulsa Walmarts 2,000 times. By comparison, they were called to the city's single target store 44 times.
....but people dashing out the door with merchandise is the least troubling part of Walmart's crime problem. More than 200 violent crimes, including attempted kidnappings and multiple stabbings, shootings and murders have occurred at the nation's 4,500 Walmarts this year....

one mayor had to declare Walmart a public nuisance so he could fine them every time they called the police. It made them get serious about hiring security and crack down on attracting crime.

I'm lucky enough that I am surrounded by options within 2 miles of my house that lets me skip walmart altogether
