I think Obama did try to implement more green technologies (some failed I'm sure, as we know from the Toe and Prof pointing out every Obama failure, but I'm sure some show promise) but then you got orange faced clown man bellowing about bringing back coal jobs (not happening, sure, but that's the rhetoric) so I think you just naturally get some young idealist who is going to go way overboard in the other direction. I'm sure Medicare and other stuff like that was regarded at one time as totally fucking ridiculous, no way it was possible, not going to do it ever, etc, etc., and now if you tried to take it away you'd be crucified. CNN is trying hard to not let anyone over 60 run for the Democratic nominee. They desperately want someone young and progressive.

Joe BIden will probably be the nominee, with Kamala as the VP. He might serve only one term and let Kamala take over. Trump will be rotting in prison long before then...

Biden has the best chance of beating Trump, by far. Unlike any of the other Dem candidates, Biden actually appears to be sane. They would have to tamp down all the politically incorrect gaffes and creepy photos from his past, which will be difficult given the identity politics Gestapo running things over there.

Also, he would be 78 on Election Day, so they would have to keep extra depends and aricept doses near him at all times.
