I give Prof some props for trying, but channeling AA just doesn't work from keyboard.
UF's OLine doesn't have the horses against Aubie's D to stay on the field and keep Nix Jr. & company off the field. UF's secondary is learning, but they learn best when their time on the field is minimized. Still Aubie and the Gators have a history of nail-biters, though its been 12 years since we had the pleasure of such a game. I'm hoping for a few lucky breaks, the other guys making the crucial turnover and UF getting the FG at the final gun.

So UF has absolutely no running game, coughs the ball up 3 times, and Trask becomes even more immobile -- and they win by 11? Either this defense is very special or Aubie was having an off day. Next week at LSU will tell us which.

They have a decent defense. Auburns is probably the best they will face all season. If Saturday nights game was in The Swamp I'd give them a chance. It's not their though. Plus, they still have to play Georgia. It's been fun though.

LSU is a top 5 caliber team, their matchup with Bammer shapes up to be epic. Thankfully Burrow's eligibility runs out this year.
Gators are not top 5 material (which we already knew) and they put up a good fight for one half and a drive. A 10-2 season is still within reason, and maybe better as UGha has been shown to be mortal. On to Coach Boom next week.

I love a realistic fan, even when what's realistic for said fan is 10-2 or better...

10-2 looks right. LSU and Georgia are probably better this year. No shame in that. Of course they are no Application State.

8-4 is within reason too but I like uf’s chances at Carolina and Mizzou

10-2 is fine with me. LSU wins the national championship

Losing by 7 in a game they were never really in, pffft. Mullen needs to close the recruiting gap on Smart to get this series back in the right direction. No, I still don't miss DDAL.
10-2 is still in reach but we have to watch out what WillieT has ready for us at the end of the month.

So UF ends up 10-2 after all. Won the games they were supposed to win, lost the games they were supposed to lose, and won the one evenly matched game on the sched. Cotton, Orange, Sugar, or Citrus next? Mullen still needs to upgrade the recruiting a couple of notches, but a decent year except for TWLOCP.

Gotta give credit to Florida fans for still having the championship mentality. Must be nice to root for a team where 10-2 is considered a "decent" year...

And finish a decent year with a decent bowl game, albeit the sloppy 2nd half defense. As Mullen said, it was harder going from 10 wins to 11 wins than going from 4 to 10, and it will be even harder to go from 11 to 12 next year. With Fromm and Burrows leaving, the opening is there.
