Male/female biological sex is not based on your DNA/chromosomes. It is based on your physical characteristics, which developed over time after conception (which is when your genetic makeup is established) largely due to production of the correct hormones. There are XX males and XY females who are the sex they are because of genetic characteristics or defects that altered their development separately from the sex chromosomes.crashcourse wrote:I don't care about the marriage aspect of it
I do care about the dna aspect of identifying sexes
male or female based on your dna period
Gender is not biological, but cultural. It is how you act, not what you are biologically. This is also why the idea of adding new genders to forms and identification is the dumbest fucking thing. M/F on your drivers license is not your gender, it is your biological sex, and so it should be correct based on what equipment you have for identification purposes, it has nothing to do with what you identify as, but what others would identify you as.
