Trump will go scorched earth if he gets indicted for improper use of campaign finance funds based on the testimony of Cohen when Mueller was supposed to be investigating Russian collusion.

He will go after Hillary, he will fire people and he will release documents into the public domain that Democrats don't want to see public.

You don't go after a petty man with a petty charge. Its won't end well.

If after two years, tens of millions of dollars, and hearing the word “RUSSIA!” millions of times from the MSM, this all comes down to a supposed violation of some Talmudic campaign finance laws that you need to be a CPA to even understand, and it is based on testimony while the witness is being waterboarded, then this will be the best thing that has happened to Trump since the Kavanaugh Hearings.

Cohen said he was directed to pay off a mistress with campaign funds.

If Cohen has evidence, then Trump broke the law

are these findings beyond the scope of the Mueller investigation? Absolutely
and that was what that article I posted about yesterday was focusing on

be careful, because the weapons you use today will be used against you when you are in power.

The SDNY US Attorney is the one going after Cohen, and the laws broken are far from “Talmudic.”

Not if you’re a Democrat. If you’re Hillary, or a Comey, or a McCabe, or a Strzok, or a Rosenstein or a Brennan, there will always be a fellow member of the Deep State that is put in charge of “investigating” you.
far from Talmudic
Isn’t this the same thing they tried to do to John Edwards? How did that work out?

Boston Herald editorial on Warren's presidential run being over before it started

------------------

It’s a foundation of criminal law that if you break the law or violate someone’s civil rights while gathering evidence against them, that evidence is inadmissible in a court of law, because it’s the “fruit of the poisoned tree.”

The fake Indian’s insurmountable hurdle is that her entire career is the fruit of the poisoned tree. Until she started “checking the box,” she was approaching middle age as a mere instructor at the University of Texas in Austin. But once she recalled her paw-paw telling her about her “high cheekbones like the Indians,” her career took off like one of Geronimo’s war ponies. Her star rose faster than a flaming arrow fired by Tecumseh.

Unlike the fake Indian herself, let’s be honest here. If she doesn’t suddenly declare herself a Native American, she never gets either of those tenured Ivy League professorships. No book contracts, no presidential appointments, no Senate seat, no nothing.

She got her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and her law degree from Rutgers. No knock on either of those schools, but that’s not where the la-de-da’s on Mass. Ave. go to find their next generation of pointy-headed professors who can’t park a bicycle straight (to quote another proud Democrat named George Wallace).

In the Times story, the next paragraph after mentioning attacks on Fauxchontas by the president and me is a quote from one of Warren’s erstwhile supporters:

“The biggest risk in engaging a bully is that bullies don’t usually stop.”

Is this person saying that anyone who points out that fake Indian speaks with forked tongue is a bully?

Odd standard to have, isn’t it? Imagine if, say, Donald Trump had once claimed to be an Indian in order to get multiple coveted jobs to which he wasn’t entitled. Do you think the people who broke that story about his serial lying would be called bullies?

No, they would be called Pulitzer Prize winners. Recipients of the Profiles in Courage Award. Speakers of truth to power.

It’s being reported that the fake Indian is now pondering whether to offer a full, complete, abject apology. But it’s too late for that – many moons too late. Americans will forgive a lot – Bernie Sanders and Corey “Spartacus” Booker have written some very stupid newspaper columns, for example, and Kamala Harris just had to fire one of her top aides after he was outed as a major perv – because we all know that everybody makes mistakes.

But when your “mistake” is stealing somebody else’s heritage to cover up for your own shortcomings as a human being, that’s something else altogether.

I really have no sympathy for her. This is the height of arrogance to me, and in a warped way, white privilege.

No one really saw her as a Native American, but it allowed them to check the boxes so they were happy to go along with it. The person(s) hurt in all this were real Native Americans denied an opportunity to move forward because of bullshit like someone looking like me claiming their heritage because her daddy told her one morning they had one in the woodpile 100 years ago.

When she turned that into a political appointment and hoped for a presidential run, that's when people were like - ok, enough is a enough

Its a shame too because Warren isn't a horrible politician. Her take on student loans is easy to support. I'm sure there are other issues she isn't off the reservation on (I crack myself up)

She wasn't a viable candidate anyway. Anyone who hated Hillary would likely hate her just as much if not more. The dems need to thin the herd anyway before the primaries, they don't need a 20 candidate field clusterfuck like the repubs had in 2016. I think Kamala Harris would be a great candidate...

I can see the Dems pushing a progressive candidate, Bernie certainly had alot of traction.

But nothing would motivate the conservatives to vote en mass for Trump again than a progressive candidate after the Corey Booker/Ortez/Harris craziness that is on display.

And since the electoral college is setup so that Wyoming cancels out California (according to Cletus) then the popular vote of California and New York would mean little.

I don't believe progressives would carry rust belt states or Florida.

I believe if Democrats want to win the presidency, they need to groom someone from outside Washington - someone relatively untouched by the political upheaval of the last 8 years that can dance around the demands by the socialist wing of the democratic party and develop common sense solutions to health care, education and immigration.

Alot depends on the economy in 2020 as well. A strong economy and they could run FDR and lose.

He’s a good looking guy, no doubt. In fact, he looks like a Kennedy. No wonder media squeals in his presence like 1960’s teenage girls did in the presence of the Beatles.

Thing is, the whole shebang would've been over a year ago if Donnie only committed a crime or two - but there's just too many. I say cut it off at a couple dozen or so...if Mueller & Co. get meticulous with every single one they'll be indicting Donnie posthumously and that'll be a REAL fucking crime. So let's GO!

Exactly. The difference between having it and not having it is the difference between Bill and Hillary Clinton.

If you’ve got it, you’re already halfway to winning. Beto’s got it. None of the rest of the old folks home escapees in the Dem field do, from what I can tell.
