Its really "just Alabama?". Who would have won if Alabama hadn't last year again?

Yeah. DSL says only Alabama is unstoppable. aTm DID stop Alabama, and aTm is an SEC team. UGA came within 4 yards of stopping Alabama. They are another SEC team.
The only CFB teams that can beat tier 1 SEC teams are other tier 1 SEC teams. Even those few teams that used to give SEC teams serious competition - Texas, USC, Miami, OU - all suck at the moment.

I and real Americans everywhere applaud the exposing of the devil's own spawn. But the games over so it's back to "BUCK FAMMA!"

I would say "Bama's back", but we'll be a young team next year... Hopefully we'll get a decent recruiting class this year to fill the gaping holes.

If you were alive and pulling for Alabama football on Dec 31, 1973...
Fuck ND. Fuck their golden dome. Fuck thier stadium. Fuck their field. Fuck their helmets. Fuck their four leaf clover. Fuck their helmets when they put the four leaf clover on the side of it. Fuck thier blue or green home jersey. Fuck their piss ant leper mascot. Fuck ND ever having anything good happen to them again. They cannot suffer enough and the only good that could come from them making it to the MNC game is the opportunity to get ran over rough shod. I am an Alabama fan and I pull for Tennessee when they play ND. I pull for AUBURN when they play ND.
Fuck ND.

The Gray Ghost wrote:Here is Professor Tiger's official BCSCG analysis and prediction:
ND has a stout front 7 against weaker competition , and they will hang with Bama's offense for three plays. Bama's O-line is strong and deep, and will wear down the Irish D in the 1st half of the 1st quarter.
On the other side of the ball, ND's offense has never seen the speed and complexity of any SEC defense, much less Bama's.
So, unless the Bama starters experiment with LSD before the game, like they did in the 2009 Sugar Bowl against Utah: Bama 28 Notre Dame 0 after one half.

Congrats to bammer.
I would have watched the second half if there had been a guarantee that they'd keep the camera on the girlfriend and maybe update the score every now and then.

I hate to say this, but the only coach I can think of right now with whom to compare Saban is Bear Bryant. Saban isn't on Bear's level yet because of Bear's long term success, but he is damn close. Dr. Tom would be in the discussion too, but fails a bit short.

If not for the first half we'd have a 14 - 14 tie game folks.
If a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its ass every time it hopped. Is there a point to that stupid comment?
