I wonder if they're going to put UK in our bracket again this year...

Don't think so....... Rocky Top has the experience (and coach) and UK has the talent (supposedly). UT by 5. Will be the first time in history that Tennessee beats UK 3 times in one season in basketball.
Cats by 9. They bloomed later than any of Cal's recent squads, even the 2011 F4 team, but bloom they have. Whoa.

One correction though: TN swept KY in the reg. season then beat them in the finals of the '79 SECCT

Win or lose, it's good to see that UK couldn't put the hammer down against UT. I can't really talk, though, we were up 13 on Duke with under 5 minutes to go two nights ago and they took us to the wire. Reinforces the notion that anybody can win or lose on a given night this year...

hot damn...nothing against the previous two teams but they played us tired. This was a valid win today. The kids finally know their weaknesses
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

One guarantee in March Madness is that either Dook or unc will get a cakewalk to the final four. Last year was Dook, this year is unc.

I figured UK fans would be howling (just like every year) at their bracket. Zona in the second round? Then the overall #1 seed in the Sweet 16? Granted, if you get by that you should like your chances against anybody in the other side of the bracket, but still, that's a gauntlet. I don't think a group of freshman underachievers is prepared for UVa's methodical chinese water torture. That's if you get past Arizona. Davidson's no slouch, either. Gotta agree with Crotch, I'm not exactly terrified by our bracket. Hate to have to beat the same team again, esp. as they are playing much better now and will have had plenty of rest, but I can't say I'm too worried about anybody in our bracket. Jay Williams is already calling for a Missouri upset of Xavier and the rest of the guys seemed more excited about Gonzaga than Xavier. Of course, we could lose to Libscombe...

Mizzou ain't beating Xavier. Porter took 17 shots in 21 minutes.

One of you ACC folks give me the 411 on VaTech.

Not sure it matters, though. Even if we win, Nova will depants us.

Oklahoma getting in because Trae Young is a draw is a joke.

Its corruption actually. They were garbage

aTm, what are our chances of getting past a dangerous and highly underrated TAMU squad in the second round?

Their coach, Buzz Williams, can be very animated and sweaty on the sidelines...

Buzz Williams should be A&Ms coach.

In the unlikely event that A&M actually makes the 2nd round, i would imagine UNC is fine as long as they actually show up to the arena for the game.

Every guy on ESPN (and Vitale too) had Michigan / Gonzaga as the Elite 8 game in our region. Seems like all of them had UVa vs. MSU in the finals, I think one of them picked UVa, the others went with MSU. Jay Williams was like "this is just like that other year when we all picked MSU" and one of the other guys said "Yeah, the year they lost to Middle Tennessee State in the first round". I do like that nobody picked UNC or Xavier to even make it to the regional finals...
