I don't think they will. I really believe Emmert will only go after the coaches who were directly involved

At this point I'm leaning that he won't even declare players ineligible.

Remember - Louisville hasn't been punished for the FBI thing , they lost their banner over prostitutes.

Damn, did goldie's head explode on that Miami 3-pointer?

You'd think UNC would have learned from the 2016 national championship to not let the man with the ball dribble unguarded into the frontcourt but there they go again, as Ronnie Reagan used to say. There's 4 fucking seconds left, make him earn every foot of court before he gets a shot off.

That was a little different, the dude shot it from practically half court (and he traveled, but oh well, they'll never call that). I think Roy would give them that shot every time...

Watch the slow-mo starting at 16 seconds, 3 full, lusty steps...

You have to get back to defend against an easy layup (or drive and foul), but I guess they could've pressured him a little more. Still, I'd say there's a less than 10% chance of that shot hitting, you give them that and take your chainces...

Your chances are better when you slow the ball. I know it was tied and they didn't want to foul, so the inclination is to get back on D. But you can't forget time in that situation and not let the dribblers go unabated into the front court

you shouldn't be angry about a half court shot, you should be angry that Miami was tied with a team vying for a #2 seed in the final seconds of an end of season game.

Well, I only saw Berry's 3 and the 28-footer to win it. But, yeah, shitty defense all night

UNC is good enough to beat anybody but average enough to lose to anybody. Not that Miami is just anybody. They're 21-8

No doubt. And it wasn't like they came back and tied us up, they were leading the whole game from about the 10 minute mark of the first half. I think they stretched it out to about 15 at one point in the second half. I guess I should appreciate our moxie in being able to come back and tie it up, at least there's some small (very small) moral victory in that, but we played like crap most of the game. Hopefully that will be a wake-up call...

That was more like a running 40 footer. He was exactly one stride over the half court line. I think any coach would take their chances on that...

Yahoo said 28.1 feet on the game stream but it's probably almost 40 ft. when he let it fly. Probably wouldn't have gotten it off in the frontcourt if UNC had found him before the inbounds play. Live and learn, or in UNC's case, don't learn.

That guy I work with whose son is a a bit of an athletic phenom - he played his last game last night as a freshmen and his stats are better than Luke Kennards, and almost as good as Kennards as a sophomore.

It will be interesting to to watch this kid as he grows.

.09 seconds left in the game - Louisville up 4 fouls on a 3, guy makes first 2, misses 3rd but rebounded by the Cardinals, but there's a lane violation by VA so Louisville just needs to inbound to win by 2, the guy throwing the ball in runs the baseline which is a walk, turns the ball over to Virginia under their goal, they throw it to an open 3 point shooter who banks it in.

67-66 #1 VA over UL.

Second buzzer beater from behind the arc to win the game in the ACC this week. Duke also lost on tip in with 4 seconds left, but at least they had a chaince to win...

He'd ban himself if he was still around.

I give Crow credit for not showing up during the UNC cheating scandal. They got tired of his ass over at CatsIllustrated and banned him too.

USF (8-21, 1-15 in AAC, KenPom 321, and 1-15 in their past 16 games) came to FedEx Forum last night.

They beat Memphis 75-51. Memphis was never closer than 19 down in the 2nd half. Worst home loss ever.
