Trump won't run in 2020. He will attempt to take the money and run.

Since you think Trump won’t run in 2020, does that mean you think he will still be president in 2020?

idk. Ask me again after Mueller releases his report. After we find out what "cooperation with the Special Counsel" from all these key players entails.

So you think Trump will be re-elected, right?

Like you, I don’t know. Anything can happen in two years. Although I’m not worried about Mueller. He won’t have any empirical evidence to prove collusion. But that lack of evidence will not stop the Democrats from impeaching Trump if they take the House. Their blood lust must be slaked. Of course, that effort will die in the Senate, and Trump will remain POTUS.

But the spectacle will rally the Trump base in 2020 like the Kavanaugh hearings rallied the Trump base in 2018, and just made the Senate redder. If Trump goes down before 2020, it will be from something nobody knows about now. Most likely from his old business dealings. That’s always possible. Like, 33.3% possible.

Fantastic. Post of the year.

Tick, if you ever wonder why nobody takes seriously the nonstop Dem/MSM confident assertions that Trump is doomed, and why we fart in Mueller’s general direction, ^this is why.

Politico reporting this.....(is Politico reputable? I have no idea)

After two years of extensive news coverage depicting an elaborate conspiracy and coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign, Robert Mueller’s investigation has amounted to nothing, Politico reports.

Citing defense lawyers working on Mueller’s Russia probe and more than 15 former government officials, Politico reveals that Robert Mueller’s team has failed to produce any evidence of collusion. Mueller supporters and Trump critics, the outlet notes, are in for a major disappointment.

What’s more, the special counsel’s findings — or lack thereof — may never even be made available to the public.

“That’s just the way this works. Mueller is a criminal investigator. He’s not government oversight, and he’s not a historian,” John Q. Barrett, a former associate counsel who worked under independent counsel Lawrence Walsh explained

--------------------------------
Assuming Mueller plays the rules, he'll turn his report over to the Justice Department. Then Trump will likely cite executive privilege on the report and lock it down if it does contain damaging evidence and if it doesn't he'll push for Republicans to demand it be made public

No surprise there.

But Mueller’s findings WILL be made public. Trump is already sitting on a treasure trove of documents he declassified on the Deep State. They will all come out, maybe during the impeachment hearings, or the 2020 election season. Payback will be a great big female dog.

I think the dirty open secret about the Saudi's torturing and killing this guy is that from a political perspective, its just one guy. Albeit he's a reporter which is why the media is howling all over this but no one is going to risk further instability in the Saudi family over the murder of one person, hell no one would risk a $20 rise in a barrel of oil over 1 person.

To me this is more about the media demanding that Trump and the US take some hard line position against Saudi Arabia because they killed a news reporter in a fairly public and matter of fact way.

Didnt we go to war because an American reporter was beheaded?

So does that mean if Stephens had been a reporter instead of a US ambassador, the Democrats would have cared about Benghazi?

The reason #TeamBlue cares about Khashoggi and didn't care about Benghazi, and that #TeamRed cares a lot about Benghazi, but not as much about Khashoggi, is because #teamBlue was in charge of foreign policy for Benghazi and #TeamRed is in charge now.

The reason Team Red doesn’t care that much about Khashoggi is he was a Saudi killed by Saudis in a Turkish embassy. Notice the absence of the word “American” in that sentence.

It was the same all the times the Russian Putin poisoned other Russians all over the world. It’s a reminder that Russia and Saudi Arabia are both run by gangsters who do that kind of thing to anybody who challenges them, but that’s about it. Not worth freaking out over.

Verbatim, from Mueller Report PSA: Prepare for Disappointment by Darren Samuelsohn:
That’s the word POLITICO got from defense lawyers working on the Russia probe and more than 15 former government officials with investigation experience spanning Watergate to the 2016 election case. The public, they say, shouldn’t expect a comprehensive and presidency-wrecking account of Kremlin meddling and alleged obstruction of justice by Trump — not to mention an explanation of the myriad subplots that have bedeviled lawmakers, journalists and amateur Mueller sleuths.

Nowhere in the article does it say the investigation has amounted to nothing or "Mueller's team has failed to produce any evidence of collusion". That's a big fat lie. Here's the article:

Also notice the absence of the words "employed by the WaPo" and "resident of Virginia" in prof's tripe.

MBS has rubbed his junk in the face of civilzed society. It's so bad even Trump has called it "the worst cover-up in the history of cover-ups." It's a major test, and the whole world is watching.

He was a US resident and was going through the process for citizenship. His purpose for going to Turkey was to secure divorce papers so he could marry in the US.

I do not see how any person with any sense of morality can wave this off and not be enraged...

Oh, yeah. Never mind.

I'm outraged as a human being.

The problem is that the Saudis are an essential ally in that region. Hopefully, the Saud family will push MBS aside and place someone else in that position, and I hope it is someone with whom we can work.

Geopolitics is beyond ugly because you are often forced to associate with some heinous entities.
