I've never heard the feminist Left denounce female genital mutilation common in Muslim countries. Or any of the other raging examples of misogyny inherent in Sharia law, that is the law of the land in many Muslim countries - women can't drive, can't leave the house without a male relative's supervision, women can't vote, women can't have jobs without their husband's permission, husbands are fully authorized to beat their wives, etc. Even the LGBT's should be protesting the fact that gays in Sharia countries are thrown off tall buildings for being gay.

I miss the old days, when liberals solidly (and rightly) denounced apartheid. They actually cared when one of their constituencies were being treated like second class citizens in South Africa. Today, they don't seem to care at all that two of their other constituencies are treated like second class citizens in Sharia countries today. In fact, Islam is the only religion that liberals are fond of.
