Looks like Moonbeam and the Kalifornia legislature are as inept as Brocky Obammer in helping/advocating
the poor.

And the most recent numbers from the Franchise Tax Board show nearly 90 percent of the money comes from one-fifth of the taxpayers – those making $91,000 and up. They belong to the only income range whose average income increased in the last two decades.
...Forty-five percent of the state’s income tax money comes from the top 1 percent of filers –...For other taxpayers, real income has stagnated or declined.

"I am saying there is a segment of that population that are attention whores who exist for no other reason to draw attention to themselves or get some kind of secondary gain from trying to be something they are not."
Hollywood has made quite a nice little industry out of this...

I'm surprised there hasn't been a major push to boycott all springsteen concerts for his beliefs or all bryan adams or all Disney or paypal business for what there doing to north Carolina.
Funny you should mention that. Today, the NBA backed down on its threat to move their all-star game out of NC.
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/nba-keep ... d=38431087
My guess is, the NBA heard from a LOT of their fans who approved of the NC law and disapproved of the league's pro-trannie bathroom's stance. That would include a gigantic number of African-Americans, who are the life-blood of the NBA, and are also the most ferociously anti-LGBT block in America.

More likely the NBA is giving them a chance to fix it before they kill MJ's chance to make extra dough for hosting. There are a lot of LGBT front office types in the NBA.

I'm not sure. The NBA spokesman said, “There was no discussion of moving the All-Star game..." That doesn't sound like a threat to move the game until the people of NC comply with the dictates of their moral betters. I could be wrong, but I think the league has figured out that it is not wise to piss off a large percentage of their fan base in order to please .01% of the US population that are tranny's, and mostly don't know the difference between a rim and a rim job. The LGBT's in the front office will shut up if the money calculation of "to move or not to move" demands it.
It's always about the money.

True about the money, but if the knuckle-dragging community had that much economic clout, there'd be a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, gay Scoutmasters, gay Senators, gay judges, etc.
The Pink Dollar may be the most powerful force in American politics right now.

My rates did go down, goof. This story that you didn't read is about health insurers complaining about not getting enough rate from their customers.

Trust me. The NBA is putting the hammer down behind the scenes. The threat is real. Wanda, call my cell.

Not necessarily disputing that, but how does the LGBT community have that much economic muscle when they only comprise around 5% of the population? And the T's are certainly a fraction of 1%?
I gotta give them credit - for such a small group to wield such cultural and economic dominance, they are incredibly effective PR operators, organizers, fund raisers and strings-attached political donors.

If Bradley Manning is there, it's the military Leavenworth - the US Disciplinary Barracks.
Civilian federal prisons will pay for the "transition" of inmates who don't take the hint from their anatomies as to what sex they are. I've been out of the military since '04 so I don't know how the DB handles that nowadays.

The LGBT community is bigger than 5%. I don't necessarily believe the 30% number that they used to tout, but I am increasingly discovering people who *aren't* LGBT, but have sex with people of the same gender.
