I'm gonna have to put UK down for an "L" tonight against UT. UT will play inspired ball trying to prove themselves ready for SEC play.

UK will drop out of the top 20

Out of the top 20? How many have they lost already?

After the loss to UCLA, we dropped from 8 to 15th, then after beating Louisville by 30, we dropped to 17

if there is a silver lining to this uninspiring season, its that Cal may actually return all his players. Even his stud, Kevin Knox is in a 5 game slump where he shot poorly and didn't step up when the team needed him.

maybe..then again Karl Towns and Devin Booker came to play with the Harrison twins and they went undefeated until the title game.

Cal's ego won't let that happen... Guarantee he'll try to push at least a couple OADs out... Dallo, Knox, Alexander. I'm finished with UK basketball... and Calipari.

Memphis used to sell out every home game...tickets were always in high demand.

Turn on ESPNNews right now to see what Tubby has done.

I’m fairly certain Penny Hardaway’s Memphis East team draws bigger crowds.

If it's any consolation, the crowd in Lexington doesn't look terribly excited right now either...

Penny Hardaway has to be Memphis' next coach.

Heck, I'd want to watch Memphis games then.

Memphis fires Tubby, Hires Penny and Memphis gets the Wiseman kid, a program changer that UK is counting on next year to commit

Penny would be as successful as Clyde Drexler at Houston...

have you seen what he doing at the high school level?

Given its Memphis and what they have lived thru in the past decade, I think he's capable of having a regular tourney team, maybe even get Memphis enough clout to jump conferences down the road.

Those Memphis Cincy games in the 90s were classic.

a little drama surrounding UK basketball this week.

Kentucky has a 5 star, actually two 5 stars that are hurt and haven't played this year. One is out for the year, the other has been medically cleared for awhile.

When asked why he wasn't playing Cal gave a Un-Calipariesque response saying he doesn't even pay attention to the kids, doesn't know who he is and won't care until the kid comes to him and says he is ready to play.

So naturally UK fans having nothing else to obsess about now have been digging around. It would seem this kid has, along with his handlers, decided that playing at this point in the year might hurt his draft stock and has been pushing back against being thrown into the mix of the team and appearing not as capable as other 5 stars. It came to a head before the A&M game where Cal had a meeting with him and it "ended badly" according to a board insider.

This is what the one and done has done to college basketball.

Also Zion Williamson is going to announce Saturday at 6pm. It would appear Clemson basketball is about to become relevant next year
