And I don't seem to recall the IRA doing stuff like this:

Al Qaeda bombed the WTC, then came back and took down both towers and a good chunk of the Pentagon, killing thousands of Americans. Now they barely create a ripple worldwide (Burkina Faso hotel, 28 dead...west Africa?)

Most analysts see ISIS on a similar downward trajectory, largely due to the reverses I mentioned earlier. That was certainly no assessment of the evil of ISIS, hell - they've cornered the evil market, right? It's just that they won't realize their goal of a nation-state, and in turn recruiting has suffered. There'll still be Faces of Death videos and suicide attacks but it's obvious their best days are behind them (and then they'll give way to some new whizbang jihadi outfit). I know that doesn't fit the rwnj narrative that ISIS is coming to kill us in our beds - sorry.

A poll conducted by the University of Massachusetts, running a standard statistical analysis, found that education, income, gender, age, ideology and religiosity had no significant bearing on a Republican voter's preferred candidate.

Only two of the variables were statistically significant: authoritarianism, followed by fear of terrorism, though the former was far more significant than the latter.

Boiled down to the bare essentials, MacWilliams' poll suggests that Trump generally appeals to voters who prefer a more authoritarian approach to the federal government. The second group he appeals to are those who fear increased terrorist attacks.

Careful, you shorted the PAH an "l".

Perhaps you've forgotten the Clinton Body Count.

I took the second L and added it to ISIS to make it ISIL.

"Thank you, tick. I feel comforted now."

Do you seriously ever feel threatened by terrorist? Do you think about them at all in terms of a threat to yourself or your fambly?

Fate stopped me and said, "Travel no further, warrior, for a storm approaches."

I replied, "Worry not fate, for I AM the storm."

I then practiced my karate on the beach - in nothing more than my gi pants and my well-worn black belt.

Personally, and my family? No immediate threat, our area is not really a target or near a border, but there is a more immediate danger to others in this country and those traveling in Europe.

Long term, our softness in handling these groups that foster such terror will eventually do this country in. We are so scared of collateral deaths on bombings and political correctness on our policies that we are no deterrent to any enemy.

But, hey, the earth increasing 1 degree in temperature in the next 100 years is by far the more immediate threat so we must act..

We are assassinating these fucker's leaders left and right and I suspect we'll continue to. And any american citizen is about in as "immediate danger" of being killed by a terrorist as being struck by lightning. Is it something I'd like to see eradicated completely? Sure. But is it something that I sit around and worry about in the least, as far as my personal safety (and really, anybody else's)? Um, no...

The PAH is the Empress Dowager of Wall Street, so your designation of her is accurate.

Had this been a white woman stopping a black man for having a Justin Bieber haircut, media and BlackLivesMatter would be all over this. However it is not and will just be swept under the rug.

Another reason I can't take any of this seriously:

She grabbed him 3 times, so there's 3 charges of simple battery begging to be filed. Unless the whole thing was staged of course, which some news sources have suggested.

Quick search of the media who have featured that story: Fox, NBC, Huffington Post, London Telegraph, The Blaze, WND, Breitbart, SFGate, Daily Caller

It would be better served if billions of dollars in free media came with serious accountability, especially when politicians issue unworkable plans or make promises they can’t keep.

Let me repeat....when politicians issue unworkable plans or make promises they can’t keep

Trump's Favorite Media Outlet Exposes His Campaign's Big Lie - WaPost

If you were an oddsmaker, which media outlet would you have booked as the longest shot to expose a blatant lie by Donald Trump and prompt a criminal charge against his campaign manager? It would have had to be Trump-loving Breitbart News, right?

So let's just appreciate, for a moment, the incredible irony that it is a new video showing Corey Lewandowski grabbing the arm of a Breitbart reporter that irrefutably disproves the candidate's previous claim that "nothing happened" and "she made the story up."

And to think...November is still half a year away.
