How dangerous is an old wet naked guy with a boner in the showers anyway. I would have thrown some cleats at him or something.

But where I think he really screwed up was not wondering why this guy wasn't going to jail 8 - 12 days after he reported it?

Is there really some ambiquity about whether he could get by with just a slap on the wrist in that situation?
Should have done something. But clearly, it's up to all of the bosses to do something. JoePa was the immediate Boss, he can't just pass it up and leave it to them. I see the assistant doing that (although he should have immediately stopped them) since Sandusky was for all practical purposes, one of the assistant's bosses.

What's the toughest part about raping a 10-year-old? Getting the blood outta the shower.

Have hedge and Jerry Sandusky ever been seen at the same place at the same time?

Speaking of hedge, did he ever own up to what had him, ahem, 'detained' the other week?

Sometimes you eat the bear... and sometimes the bear eats you.

Not if you're a lion, then you always eat the bear.

McQuery is out. And did hedge ever explain his absence?

Hmmmm. Seems suspicious to me considering his ties to Logan.

Sandusky was retired at that point, so I wouldn't go so far as saying he was McQueary's boss.

However, when I was 19 I walked in on my college roommate getting plowed by some dude (who was a dancer on MTV, actually). I wasn't expecting it (obviously) and it took me a good 10 minutes to come out of the shock. My first reaction was to turn around and call my Mom from the payphone in the hallway (man, I'm old. My nephews would be like "pay phone?" at this point).

Now, I was 19 and not 28, but I still know that the shock of seeing something like that can make you first doubt what you saw and then sleepwalk through a part of your next few minutes. I would think if I saw that now, as a man basically 40, my reaction would be different. However, I know how that visage (when you don't expect to see it...and you don't expect the person involved with it to be into that sort of thing) can cause some scrambled moments, even when you're relatively mature.

So, I don't hold McQueary in as low esteem as many...even after I found out he was 28 at the time and not 22/23.

I am convinced Joe Pa knew well before 2002, so I do hold him in higher contempt.

I don't remember who posted it, but what year did Sandusky get an offer from the Terps? After his retirement?

It was when they hired Vanderlinden in the late 90's. Vanderlinden is now on the Penn St staff so clearly Maryland is involved in this whole thing!!!

Vanderlinden was hired by MD in 1997, which was prior to the '99 investigation into Sandusky. So, my original points still stand, even is bolstered by this. So, as late as 1997 Sandusky turned down a job because he wanted the PSU head coach job...then retires two years later.

Everyone knew about Sandusky's lifestyle and none of those bitches did a fucking thing about it. Paterno deserved to go.

Thanks. I wasn't sure at first if the hook set or not. When I saw the long reply, I was very happy. Thinking about getting this fish mounted and hanging it above my fireplace.
Heh. Fucker. Well done.

This year's TAMU team may be the most heartbreaking team of all time.
