You shouldn't talk about your current girlfriend like that. It's understood, of course, but still, it's unseemly...

that bear was in my neighborhood 2 days ago. Was about 500 yards from my house. I put some pork chops out in the yard hoping he'd meander over my way but he went toward sonic instead.
Can't blame him, sonic has some kickass burgers...at least better than my wife's tough ass pork chops.

That made me laugh more than it should have. It was funny, but I literally guffawed.

My youngest and I went looking for him. They say he's heading back south so he should be back here soon. Dude swam across the Ohio.

sad....this is near the Cat's Meow - matter of fact, their web cam caught the incident
NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE)— -
Gun fire erupted on Bourbon Street early Sunday morning leaving nine people injured.
The shooting occurred around 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Bourbon Street according to New Orleans police spokesman Frank Robertson. Superintendent Ronald Serpas said that "two cowardly young men" were trying to settle a dispute between themselves "without a moments care for anyone else."
According to NOPD an unidentified woman is listed in critical condition, while seven other people are stable and one victim's condition is unknown. According to Serpas, some of the victims are not from New Orleans.
All victims were taken to nearby hospitals and according to Serpas police were on the scene in seconds.
Graphic footage of the incident was captured by an EarthCam streaming Internet camera. In the video you can see the gun man pull out his weapon, shoot the man closest to him and then fire more shots down Bourbon Street.

Just got back from island hopping in Hawaii. Was on my wife's bucket list. Going in I was negative, but ended having a good time. Still prefer the Carribean when it comes to island vacations mostly because it is only a 2-3 hour flight from here.

I've been promising to take my wife to hawaii for years. Can't ever pull the trigger on it though.

Yes, the 18 hour day with 10-12 of it on the plane is a killer.

I prefer Kauai, but I have friends who are partial to Maui. Can't go wrong either way...

I prefer Kauai as well. Maui has great beaches, but has been taken over by resort communities which are boring, IMO. I prefer the local town atmosphere next to a great beach. Hanalei was my favorite spot, and even Kapaa was a pretty cool place.

I always go to the public park in Hanalei to get my weed, then head over to the Blue Dolphin for some sushi...

Last fall we were staying at the RS during a Saints/Falcons weekend and had the same shit happen. We missed being in the thick of it by about an hour. Luckily (not for the one guy of course) only one person was hurt when we were there.
People are fucking crazy.
