Bama plays Lipscomb tonight. Get to see if Collin Sexton is worth the hype.

Anywhere. All those sites are pablum. Ross wrote for us last year but said he couldn't have a side gig when he took the IC job. He was good at putting out info but really not a great writer. The guy who does the Duke Notebook for us seems to write it from his couch and never really brings anything that hasn't already been said a bunch of places.

Most of those internet guys aren't really great writers and they aren't real reporters since they work for fan sites, so they'll never ask any uncomfortable questions. Shit, most of the regular press corps in NC (at least when I still went to games 8 or 9 years ago) wouldn't ask Coach K uncomfortable questions. The web dudes definitely won't go near that

my brother asked me if I wanted to drive down to Lexington and watch the game with him tonight. My response was I don't want to drive 2 hours to watch us lose by 15

It sounds like you're saying the Wilson Daily Times isn't drawing the top journalism talent. Shocking...

No, I'm saying that most of these guys who write for online publications with much bigger audiences are less talented than the guys who cover the high schools for real papers around here.

Preston didn't play in Kansas season opener for missing curfew.

Tonight he won't be playing against UK because he was in an automobile accidents. He's fine but the car he was driving wasn't his.

So basically he was caught driving a boosters or agents high dollar auto.

WTF? How can you justify not ejecting Wendell Carter there? Straight up elbowed a guy in the face? Just pretending that it might not have been intentional? Awful

Lexington is only an hour away ecat. Learn how to drive. There are no cops on Kentucky highways.

in my evaluation of lasts night game, I didn't take into consideration that Kansas best 3 players were capable of going 11-41

22 points for Sexton in his debut. I'd take it.

I'd take that. I'd take it if it -7.5
Vegas don't play!

I think he will be good. Not sure doing well against Lipscomb University means much, though.

Just watched a highlight video of Zion Williamson's season opener. He score 46 and had 15 rebounds. Hard to tell how his game is going to translate against college competition (much less pro), but he is very quick around the basket for all his size. I guess the ultimate upside for him would be Charles Barkley, but I didn't see him make but one long range shot, everything else was put-backs or bulling his way to the basket. With his quickness, I think he'll still be able to be effective on the glass in college, both offensive and defensive, but I don't know if he's going to be able to bull his way to the basket against 6'10" post players in college. Still, he'll be fun to watch, wherever he ends up...
