San Franciscan: My studio costs $2700 and I stepped in human feces & 1 used syringe on my morning commute.
City: We hear you. Action must and will be taken. Scooters are now illegal.
San Franciscan: What
City: No more delivery robots.
San Franciscan: But
City: Workplace cafeterias are forbidden.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
The globalist Koch Brothers, who have become a total joke in real Republican circles, are against Strong Borders and Powerful Trade. I never sought their support because I don’t need their money or bad ideas. They love my Tax & Regulation Cuts, Judicial picks & more. I made.....
More
....them richer. Their network is highly overrated, I have beaten them at every turn. They want to protect their companies outside the U.S. from being taxed, I’m for America First & the American Worker - a puppet for no one. Two nice guys with bad ideas. Make America Great Again!

That guy is living in a $2700 studio apartment in SF? He needs to move out of the hood if he wants to get away from street poop and syringes...

1: What’s the going rent for a non-poop and non-syringe neighborhood in SF?
2: Who, other than hedge fund managers, tech executives, and Nancy Pelosi, can afford to live with there?

Several hundred thousand people, evidently, and several million more in the Bay area...

But what about all the people in SF who can "ONLY" afford the $2700 studio apartment? Liberals are always claiming they care about the poor. Why should they be subjected to stepping on human feces and used syringes? Has it ever occurred to SF city officials to induce their homeless people to stop pooping and leaving their needles in public? Somehow every other city in America manages to do that.

Most other cities are so shitty it would just be piling on the have shit in the streets, too. But to put your mind at ease, I was in SF less than a year ago, and I of course strolled around my old haunts in the Tenderloin and the Mission. Definitely saw a few syringes on Market Street (at 5 in the morning, before the street cleaners had come by), but during the day I didn't see either poop or syringes. I'm sure you'll believe your "sources" over my word, though...

The New York Times’ newest editorial hire has a history of racist tweets against white people.
NYT announced on Wednesday that they hired Sarah Jeong to join their editorial board. Jeong previously wrote for the Verge and authored “The Internet of Garbage,” a book about online harassment and free speech.
Shortly after Jeong’s hire, Twitter users unearthed old tweets in which she expressed an extreme distaste for white people.
“Dumbass fucking white people marking up the internet with their opinions like dogs pissing on fire hydrants,” she tweeted in 2016.
Another tweet reads, “oh man it’s kind of sick how much joy I get from being cruel to old white men.”
Democrats have redefined racism precisely so people like Sarah Jeong can say racist things and still get jobs at the New York Times. pic.twitter.com/ibjWFy5NLi

The @nytimes hired and hours later fired @quinnnorton after learning about her past tweets that were less nakedly racist than Jeong’s. https://t.co/rlqjdGDfn1

for the life of me, I am at a loss as to why anyone would tweet out shit like this - especially if you believed it - to millions of people.
There are going to be thousands of cautionary tales about people whose twitter history has derailed a promising career.

It's sad that twitter is treated as if it's real life, when its basically the same shit we've all been doing in various places for 20 fucking years. The only difference is now every asshole is on it and aware of it.

yea, that's true but those same people who live on twitter have made it real life.
Hell, a president got elected because of twitter. That's about as real as it gets

It’s amazing how the NYT hires a racist nutcase like that, yet CNN’s crybaby goes sniveling and mewling to the WH press conference, pleading for Sara Huckabee to say what great people journalists are. Sara rhetorically issued him a new orifice.

the internet has created a new world.
people are just as likely to value the opinion of a blogger or youtube content provider as they are a professional journalist.
The Jim Acosta's of the world want to blame Trump but the reality is they treat their bias as this blunt sword of truth to be thrust onto the American public as a service. They're lost on the idea that with the internet in the age of Trump, you can win a battle with someone who buys ink by the barrel because the ink is a dying concept.
A free press is important to America. Jim Acosta or anyone else who has delusions of grandeur about their role in maintaining it....are not. Their best option is to deliver facts in the most neutral format possible in small easily remembered soundbites - and stop trying to be an on air personality.
Woodword and Bernstein are an obsolete model. Pewdiepie is their peer.

"He said I was Modern Man, and if they voted to convict me, well, they'd be practically cinching the noose around their own necks. He told them to look not at the facts but at the meaning of the facts, and then he said the facts had no meaning. It was a pretty good speech, and even had me going..."
