The report, including the penalties, will be released tomorrow at noon, according to Andrew Carter of The Charlotte Observer.

The NCAA has bigger things to worry about right now. They have willfully looked the other way at criminal malfeasance going on right under their nose for decades, I doubt any judge is going to take them too seriously regarding an academic case now that the FBI is involved in a criminal fraud case...

not saying we won't but since UK is the poster child for one and done which is the driver for this scandal, I'd think the FBI would lead with us instead of UL.

The jig is up, boy! UK is going down. At least you got one title out of Cal and, most importantly to UK fans, a handful of recruiting titles. That's what matters, right Crotch?

Little is thought to be the player Adidas officials wanted to pay $150,000 to commit to Miami over Arizona. In the suit, an Adidas official states that Arizona had offered $150,000 to "Player-12," thought to be Nassir. Nassir's AAU program director, James Brad Augustine, was one of ten men arrested last week, and Miami and Arizona were thought to be the favorites to land Nassir before the suit went public

If it turns out he was complicit in any way, he won't play for us, obviously. With the FBI on the case, I'm sure that will be determined pretty quickly. The real point is, a lot of these kids are going to be looking for a clean program that isn't implicated in this shoe company reps paying assistant coaches for access scheme, and Carolina is going to be one of the main beneficiaries...

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, told the Kansan on Wednesday that it has documents related to the University of Kansas and its sponsorship with the Adidas apparel company, but cannot release them due to an ongoing legal investigation.
The presence of documents responsive to the Kansan’s request, filed on Sept. 27, does not necessarily implicate the University in wrongdoing, but appears to contradict what Kansas Athletics officials said after the scandal broke.
The Kansan asked for “all documents and communications within this investigation related to the University of Kansas and any of its sponsorship deals with Adidas or any investigation of Kansas basketball coaches.”
On Sept. 26, the FBI announced that four assistant basketball coaches from Arizona, Auburn, Oklahoma State and Southern California had been arrested on a slew of bribery and fraud charges related to the investigation into Adidas. Louisville head coach Rick Pitino was fired a short time after the arrests were made for the school’s involvement in the scandal.
Wednesday, the FBI said the material requested by the Kansan “is located in an investigative file which is exempt from disclosure.”
