I just wonder how the M2 machine gun thing will play out. It's obviously a year into the future from the beginning of the season (which was only one year later than the first episode), which means there will be a time jump of several months at some point, and that has never happened so far.

Good call. Interesting to see who the machine gun is for also? My guess would be his new distributors.

This is pretty cool...

A video posted to YouTube on Monday, in which the driver Ken Block flogs a 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta on the streets of San Francisco, accumulated 5.1 million views in its first 24 hours and was on pace to surpass 10 million views on Wednesday. (This article was from July 11, looks like they're up to 27 million views now)....

But for progressive-minded civic leaders hoping to lure Block to their cities to produce similarly virtuosic displays of tourist-baiting cinema, there are prerequisites. For one, a very good film commission.

“San Francisco was amazing to us,” Block said in a telephone interview on Wednesday. “We laid out specifically what we wanted to do and where, and the police and film commission really worked hard to make it happen.”

Block and his producers were given the run of the city’s streets and, in an opening sequence to inspire incredulous gasps from East Bay commuters, the Oakland Bay Bridge. With its seams well-hidden, little would suggest the 10-minute film came together over four days of shooting in May.

“There’s no way you can one-take this kind of production,” Block said. “We had limited time in each area to get the shots we needed.”

The evocations of “Bullitt,” the 1968 film in which Steve McQueen pursued a Dodge Charger over the peninsula in a fastback Ford Mustang, are strong but not overt. “‘Bullitt’ was definitely in mind,” Block said. “It’s one of the most iconic chase scenes. But nobody really had used these roads in a way that showed what a modern car could do.”

Breaking Bad :
it was actually Jesse's actions that effed everything up with Gus.

Walt and Gus were on good terms before Jesse decided to go after the dealers that murdered Andrea's little brother. After that things spiraled out of control.
You are correct. It was awesome.

How can Hank get people to testify against him though? Everyone but Jesse, Lydia and the white supremacist kid are dead, and they're ass is on the line in a major way too.

The last half of the season will be about everything coming apart. Since he has decided to leave the game, he will have everyone after him from both sides. I expect a lot of murders to happen. No one is safe, including his own family. He will murder at least one person who is closely related to him.

got thru season 3 of The Wire.

Pretty much took everyone out except the new guy Marlo. I seem to recall from dropping in on random episodes when it was on that Marlo became a focal point so I'm guessing he plays a bigger role later on.

Strong season, you knew Bell was going to meet his end at some point.
