Yeah I saw that mess. I saw someone suggested they go to the Philippines and find another singer like Journey did. I though for a split second awhile back about tickets but I also knew DLR has been sucking for awhile now.

the sad thing is its looks like EVH has his shit together, although it looks like his kid ate Michael Anthony.

Sammy Hagar said that the last time he visited with EVH he was missing teeth, was talking about how he had his tongue liquified and injected into his body to fight cancer and his mansion looked like the Delta House. Now he's out of rehab and serious about music again.

Its easy to see why they hate DLR though. I wanted to punch his nose after that mess

Roth's antics were lame 35 years ago, they're outright ridiculous for a 60+ year old man. Also, is the a breathe-rite strip on his nose or just a band-aid? Finally, is that some kind of vest he has on, or has he tattooed the better part of his torso?

I caught Keith Richards in a club in NY about 10 years ago playing straight up blues, that was pretty good. The Stones should do a small venue tour playing that kind of stuff, but I know the general public would rather hear the ancient hits...

Man, you're right, I hadn't seen Wolfgang Van Halen in ages. He definitely has some size on him.

Damn ye, eCat, I can't get that fucking song out of my head now. Even worse, it keeps repeating as "Panny-maw-maw-maw-maw-maw-maw, Panny-MAW!"

My office speaker system is playing Jimi's "All Along the Watchtower" right now. That's all I can hear. It keeps me in the focused, yet somehow frenzied, energy I need to get the things done I need to today.

We ate at Marea (#84 on that list) over Christmas. I liked the dumplings at the place in Chinatown better...

I've been reading up on the fallout of the HBO documentary on Scientology and I stumbled upon this sad story regarding Isaac Hayes going back to his death.

His death apparently is a casualty of Scientology - Hayes desperately needed money and being the voice of Chef on South Park gave him that steady income, and it seems as if he loved it being able to sing on the show and being exposed to a new enthusiastic fan base regarding his music...but Scientology had a problem with South Park ridiculing them....

anyways..you should read this story

I had an older brother wrapped up in that cult for awhile in the late 70s early 80. Took my dad 1 trip out to California to beat him back to his senses.
