our starters went 24 for 24 in the first half against Morehead last, went on a 29-0 run at one point and led 63-6.

I know you can't read anything into that but holy shit

Why does BKLN hate achievement?

Heh. The last one in the door oftentimes gets the pleasure to locking it from those on the outside.

I don't know if that has anything to do with achievement, but it sure is America.

Bama basketball is one more example of the Virginia Commonwealth death plague that torments us all.

Shit. Just Spike Lee? MLK, Jr. attended Morehouse, and Chalky White's son said that he planned on it as well.

I got accepted to Morehouse and they (and FAMU and Univ of Delaware) gave me a little paper if I went there...but I had to go to DC.

Good school, but athletics have never been a high priority.

Ferrell, Perea sign with Indiana University

Hanner Perea and Yogi Ferrell, the two highest-ranked players in Indiana's 2012 basketball recruiting class, have signed their letters of intents.

Perea, ranked 16th in the nation by rivals.com, signed at Laporte LaLumiere earlier this morning and Ferrell, No. 17, followed suit at approximately 11:55 a.m. at Park Tudor.

"I think he'll be a great fit at Indiana,'' La Lumiere head coach Alan Huss Huss said. "He's a freak athlete who has matured so much over the last few years and has become an incredibly hard worker. He's just a lot tougher. He's going to come in there and play good defense, rebound and hit his left shoulder jump hooks.

"He's only going to get better.''

Perea is already pretty good. He's ranked No. 16 in the nation by rivals.com and is a five-star recruit. He committed to IU on Oct. 31, 2010 and the anticipation about his arrival has been building since then.

"I've known Hanner since the eighth grade and he's come a long way from a 6-4, 185-pound kid to a guy who is now 6-8 or 6-9 and weighs 225,'' Huss said.

Perea is part of a current five-man IU basketball recruiting class that is ranked No. 2 in the nation by both rivals.com and scout.com. Arizona has the top-ranked class.

IU is expected to sign four more players today on the first day of the November signing period. High School seniors can sign national letters of intent in this period that runs until Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The other players that are expected to sign with IU throughout the day include Park Tudor point guard Kevin 'Yogi' Ferrell, United Faith Christian Academy center Peter Jurkin, Broad Ripple shooting guard Ron Patterson and Lawrence Central small forward Jeremy Hollowell.

I can read something into that: Morehead (sic) sucks ass...

"Hanner Perea and Yogi Ferrell, the two highest-ranked players in Indiana's 2012 basketball recruiting class, have signed their letters of intents."

They should switch last names so it would look more like Hanna Barbera and Yogi Berra...
