Check out the poll at GoVols.com. The question is who do you want to see as the DC at Tenn? If I voted for Chavis, does that make me a bad guy?

Anyway... Shannon is in the lead.

With Chavis not far behond...

Yes, if you vote for chavey wavey that makes you a bad guy longing for the days of the opposition converting 3rd and 25 with ease because of the crapstain.

Rumors now that Shannon was not persued and it was all BS.

Looking like the Baylor DC, Steele or the Zooker.

Steele did a good job for Nick...not so much for Dabo. I like the sound of Zooker at any other school other than the fact he CAN recruit.

Heh...I said that a week ago.

I don't think anyone has any idea who it will be. People looove to speculate, though.

That's upsetting if it was just rumour. :(

Sitting here watching the BCS Championship. I would've never thought anyone could win on just FGs alone. The way these two defenses are playing, that maybe a requirement. Although if LSU can't find an offense, their defense will continue to be left on the field for to long and 'bama will just wear them out.

This is looking like 'bams's game to win.

Zook didn't recruit particularly well at U of I.

Over the weekend Palardy sent out a tweet welcoming Coach Shannon to UT, and that spurred a lot of the rumors by itself (Palardy being from S. Florida and all).

I'm sure young Palardy is having a big laugh over his cute stunt...not sure he understands the forces he's messing with, though.

Yes, he did. Relative to the standard Illinois recruiting anyway.

Bastard took Benn from us. I'll never forgive.

What?

6 four stars in 2006

2 five stars and 5 four stars in 2007

6 four stars in 2008

7 four stars in 2009

Thought he recruited pretty well for Illinois.

2010: Not ranked in the top 25
2009: Not ranked in the top 25
2008: Ranked #19

It's Illinois for crying out loud. It's like one step above northwestern?

But good enough for top half to top third of big 10

If the POS spent as much time practicing his kicking as he did tweeting, we'd never lose a game.

The Colquitts punt.

Palardy is a kickscorer (KS).

as long as it isn't a pressure kick

Your kicker has way too much importance in your offensive and defensive gameplans if this is true.
