At least I have some notion that UNC isn't involved in this considering the ilk of recruits Roy has managed to get the last 7-8 years. It would be truly disturbing to get busted for the likes of Leslie McDonald and Joel James

eCat, on a personal note, I may have never met you, but I enjoy your posting. Some of your stories about working on things bring back memories of my childhood with my father, and you have my more sincere thanks for bringing up those memories. However, as a UNC fan, I cannot wait to give you shit if/when UK gets nailed and UNC isn't involved in this. Dear Lord, if that happens, it would be the best non-UNC-win college basketball schadenfreude since UConn beat Dook in 1999.

They've all been B, B+ type recruits. Berry and Jackson were sort of higher but other than Harrison Barnes, UNC has not had a top 5 player this decade.

no , what Cal is good at is jumping to the next big thing while leaving a pile of ashes where he was before. That said, we dance with the devil, its what we do, We are UK. Ain't no point crying about it when its time to pay the fiddler.

Carolina should have adopted that attitude back in 2011 or whenever the shit first hit the fan.

I will say this, UK backed off Ayton, Little, and Bowen - all of which are key figures in the cash for players listed.

Of course it could have be that those kids are all Adidas schools kids who got Adidas money and Nike was going elsewhere.

Looks like Petino is getting fired today.

Jurich was the first fired, which is a little surprising - not because he should have been but that this is what caused it. An AD has zero connection to this.

Pitino is meeting with the interim President now.

just read this

An interesting report from the Courier-Journal: Tom Jurich’s daughter is a brand manager for adidas, the company at the center of this scandal. She joined the company in March.

maybe he has more connection than I realized.

Rick Pitino’s contract says that he can only be fired by the UofL Board of directors after ten days notice

Jurich was asked to fired Pitino as AD, he refused, Interim President fires Jurich

Makes sense as to why the AD was fired before the coach.
